2025 Fantasy Outlook
Reijnders is one of the numerous signings City brought in over the past calendar year, another midfielder to bolster the midfield after an iffy 2024/25 campaign sans Rodri. He will likely be expected to accompany Rodri in a holding midfielder role, similar to what he did at AC Milan, where he had the range to roam up the pitch and produce 14 goal contributions. Like many of City's new signings, a lot of his value will be attached to playing time. If he can start more often than not, there's always value in this team, but if he struggles to scratch 15-plus starts, it won't be easy to keep him on your fantasy roster, mostly on the bench.
Decent despite loss
Reijnders had four shots (one on goal), five crosses (zero accurate) and five corners in Sunday's 2-1 loss against Aston Villa.
ANALYSIS
Reijnders would feature again Sunday, his second start in their past five games, as he earned more time to end the season. It was a decent display in the midfield for him, recording four shots and five crosses. After such a strong start to the season, this is a bit of a rough way for him to end the campaign, as he will need to work for a better role next season, earning five goals and two assists in his 28 appearances (19 starts).

Two clubs competing for him?
Arsenal and Juventus are expected to entertain a move for Reijnders, according to TEAMTalk.
ANALYSIS
Reijnders didn't have a good season in 2025/26 despite enjoying a strong start, and he's ending the campaign as a secondary option in midfield. It remains to be seen what will happen with him now that Pep Guardiola will leave the club, but if he opts to change clubs, both Arsenal and Juventus are expected to compete for his signature. Juventus have been keeping close tabs on the Dutchman for quite some time.
