2025 Fantasy Outlook
Timber is a versatile defender who opened the season at left-back but finished as the top choice at right-back due to other injuries in the squad. He's not a major offensive threat with one goal and three assists in 30 appearances, though he does offer more from right-back where he produced all of those goal contributions playing behind Bukayo Saka. With a full season at right-back he has a path to a handful of goal contributions in addition to defensive upside, as Arsenal finished second in clean sheets in the Premier League last season. Timber's ability to play on either side of the back line should keep him in the XI as long as he remains fit, something worth following as he finished the 2024/25 campaign early to undergo ankle surgery.
Unavailable for Atletico clash
Timber (undisclosed) will be sidelined Wednesday in the first leg of the Champions League matchup versus Atletico Madrid, and coach Mikel Arteta commented about his return "We don't know yet. He's doing some stuff on the pitch at the moment, but we need to get the gears up and be able to do more things before he can compete with us".
ANALYSIS
Timber doesn't have a clear timeline for his recovery, having already missed seven games due to the issue. The defender, who was in good form with one goal and two assists over seven straight appearances before getting hurt, will remain in doubt for the final weeks of the campaign. Meanwhile, Ben White and Cristhian Mosquera may continue to rotate at right-back.
