Eze was tasked with stepping up to fill the void left by the departing Michael Olise last season and he did that in a big way. He set career highs with 16 goal contributions (eight goals and assists) and 102 shots. He was at his best creatively with another high watermark at 58 chances created, partly due to a split role on set pieces. Eze is the most important player in the Palace XI, and almost everything they do going forward goes through him. If he can keep improving he has a chance to reach double-digit goals and assists.
