2025 Fantasy Outlook
Odegaard didn't live up to his ridiculously good previous two seasons in north London, but he still reached double-digit goal contributions with a goal and assist in the final two matches. Odegaard missed a couple months early in the season due to an ankle injury, which is better than a muscle problem. He has a guaranteed role in the starting XI as one of the most creative players in the team, creating 2.43 chances per 90 minutes last season, which was well below the prior campaign. Similar to a lot of the Gunners, if Odegaard stays fit to start 30-plus matches, his production should get a bump in 2025/26.
Starts against City
F/MArsenal
April 19, 2026
Odegaard (undisclosed) is in the starting XI for Sunday's match against Manchester City.
ANALYSIS
Odegaard is back from his two-match absence for the major contest against City, starting in his typical midfielder role. The major concern is if he will be ready for the pace of the match, having only played four times since Feb. 7. Either way, this is solid news for the club, needing their star midfielder to close out what has been an impressive campaign.

Candidate to leave Arsenal?
F/MArsenal
March 7, 2026
Odegaard has been singled out as a candidate to leave Arsenal in the summer, according to The Telegraph.
ANALYSIS
Arsenal will need to sell a player or two in the summer to balance their books and avoid having issues with the Financial Fair Play Rules. Odegaard could generate tons of interest in the transfer market, but the playmaker is one of the club's captains. Before entertaining the idea of selling Odegaard, Arsenal are likely to consider parting ways with other players first.
