2025 Fantasy Outlook
Odegaard didn't live up to his ridiculously good previous two seasons in north London, but he still reached double-digit goal contributions with a goal and assist in the final two matches. Odegaard missed a couple months early in the season due to an ankle injury, which is better than a muscle problem. He has a guaranteed role in the starting XI as one of the most creative players in the team, creating 2.43 chances per 90 minutes last season, which was well below the prior campaign. Similar to a lot of the Gunners, if Odegaard stays fit to start 30-plus matches, his production should get a bump in 2025/26.
Delivers one assist off bench
F/MArsenal
May 11, 2026
Odegaard assisted once to go with zero corners and one chance created in Sunday's 1-0 win over West Ham United.
ANALYSIS
Odegaard came off the bench in the second half in Sunday's 1-0 win against West Ham and made an immediate impact, picking his way into the area with composure before cutting the ball back precisely for Leandro Trossard to finish and break the deadlock with seven minutes remaining. The Norwegian captain's introduction changed the dynamic of a match that had looked set for a goalless draw, with his vision and technical quality in tight spaces providing the creative spark his side had been missing. Odegaard has now registered six Premier League assists this season, level with Leandro Trossard for the team lead.

Candidate to leave Arsenal?
F/MArsenal
March 7, 2026
Odegaard has been singled out as a candidate to leave Arsenal in the summer, according to The Telegraph.
ANALYSIS
Arsenal will need to sell a player or two in the summer to balance their books and avoid having issues with the Financial Fair Play Rules. Odegaard could generate tons of interest in the transfer market, but the playmaker is one of the club's captains. Before entertaining the idea of selling Odegaard, Arsenal are likely to consider parting ways with other players first.
