SLATE PREVIEW
Colorado (vs. Los Angeles), Ottawa (vs. Columbus), Anaheim (vs. San Jose), Carolina (vs. NY Rangers) and Utah (vs. Nashville) are the biggest favorites on the Moneyline. The over/under for Blue Jackets-Senators, Oilers-Jets and Sharks-Ducks is 6.5 goals. The Sabres-Blues and Wild-Golden Knights matchups anticipate 6.0 goals being scored, while the rest of the contests expect 5.5 goals.
GOALIES
Pyotr Kochetkov, CAR vs. NYR ($7,900): Kochetkov has gone 5-2-0 with a 1.87 GAA and a .934 save percentage in his previous seven regular-season starts against the Rangers. That includes a 26-save shutout victory over New York on Nov. 4.
Joel Hofer, STL vs. BUF ($7,000): Hofer has gone 4-1-0 in his last five appearances while posting a 2.00 GAA and a .928 save percentage. He has won his previous two outings versus the Sabres, stopping 61 of 62 shots, including a 28-save shutout victory Nov. 6.
VALUE PLAYS/ONE-OFFS
Connor McDavid, EDM at WPG ($8,400): It requires a hefty salary cap investment to stack Edmonton's top line, but playing McDavid on his own has plenty of merit. He has compiled 13 goals on 60 shots and 19 assists during a 12-game point streak. He has nine multi-point efforts and 16 power-play points (four goals, 12 assists) during that span.
Macklin Celebrini, SJS at ANA ($8,000): Celebrini has registered five goals, 38 shots and nine assists during his current seven-game point streak. He has four multi-point performances and a power-play helper during that stretch. Celebrini had three assists and four shots in a 7-6 overtime loss to the Ducks on Oct. 11.
Eeli Tolvanen, SEA vs. VAN ($4,800): Tolvanen has three goals on 12 shots and seven assists across a six-game point spree. In his last appearance against the Canucks on March 1, he lit the lamp twice on four shots in a 6-3 Seattle win.
FORWARD LINE STACKS
Ducks vs. Sharks
Leo Carlsson (C - $7,300), Mikael Granlund (C - $6,400), Chris Kreider (W - $6,000)
Carlsson had an assist and three shots in his return to the lineup against the Kings on Saturday after missing one game due to injury. Granlund has compiled four goals, two assists and 15 shots in his last five outings. Kreider has one helper and five shots in his past four appearances.
Anaheim's top line combined for three goals and four assists in a 7-6 overtime win over San Jose on Oct. 11, and it could be another high-scoring affair between the two teams.
Senators vs. Blue Jackets
Tim Stutzle (C - $7,100), Drake Batherson (W - $6,600), Brady Tkachuk (W - $6,900)
Stutzle has accumulated eight goals and eight assists during a nine-game point streak. He has seven power-play points (four goals, three assists) and 28 shots over that span. Batherson has had a red-hot December, collecting seven goals, 16 points and 31 shots on net across 12 appearances. He also has three goals and five helpers with the man advantage during that time. Tkachuk has been productive this month as well, racking up six goals on 56 shots and 13 points in 12 contests. He has one tally and four helpers on the power play during that stretch.
Ottawa's top line should remain hot against Columbus on Monday. The Blue Jackets have surrendered the fourth-most goals per game (3.41) and sit 29th in the league on the penalty kill.
DEFENSEMEN
Evan Bouchard, EDM at WPG ($6,900): Bouchard has found the scoresheet in six of his last eight appearances, supplying two goals, seven assists, 22 shots and 16 blocks. He has five power-play points (two goals, three assists) during that span.
Noah Hanifin, VGK vs. MIN ($5,600): Hanifin has contributed seven assists, 11 shots on goal and seven blocked shots over a four-game point streak. He has four helpers with the man advantage during that span as he fills in for Shea Theodore on Vegas' top power-play unit.
