Rest-of-Season Projections
2024 Fantasy Outlook
Shipley landed with the Eagles in the fourth round of the 2024 Draft, coming out of Clemson after three straight seasons with at least 165 touches, 855 yards from scrimmage and seven touchdowns. His second season for the Tigers was much better than his third, but Shipley salvaged his draft stock with a 4.44 40 and strong jumps at his pro day. In Philadelphia, the rookie will compete with longtime backup Kenneth Gainwell for the No. 2 depth chart spot behind workhorse Saquon Barkley. While Shipley has the advantage in terms of athleticism, Gainwell's familiarity with the offense and solid pass-game skills mean he won't be a total pushover. However the competition plays out, both Shipley and Gainwell would figure to be involved in the offense if Barkley were to miss time. Read Past Outlooks

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could carve out solid role
Shipley, whom the Eagles selected out of Clemson in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, could ultimately carve out a solid role behind No. 1 back Saquon Barkley, Eric Edholm of NFL.com suggests.
ANALYSIS
Shipley had an accomplished college career with the Tigers that saw him compile 3,349 total scrimmage yards and 33 touchdowns in 36 games. Shipley also boasts 4.45 speed and is solidly built at 5-foot-11, 206 pounds, and Edholm notes the rookie's versatility could lead to a "sneaky" role that would see Shipley potentially eat into incumbent Kenneth Gainwell's snaps.
