2026 Fantasy Outlook
Drafted 55th overall last year, Harris spent most of his rookie season as the No. 4 WR in Los Angeles, holding his own in a larger role on the few occasions when teammate Quentin Johnston was unavailable. Harris finished the regular season with a 30-324-1 receiving line and solid per-target numbers (69.8 percent catch rate, 7.5 YPT), but he was targeted on just 15.7 percent of his routes and thus ranked 76th in yards per route run (out of 109 WRs with 200-plus routes). With Keenan Allen seemingly moving on, Harris is the new favorite for the No. 3 WR role, albeit in a Mike McDaniel offense where block-first players like FB Alec Ingold and TE Charlie Kolar will often play ahead of the third receiver. Harris' upside scenario for fantasy thus entails stealing a starting job from Johnston or Ladd McConkey (or else replacing one of them when injured). Read Past Outlooks

Receiver room competition
Harris could have competition for his spot on the depth chart after the Chargers selected Brenen Thompson with the 105th overall pick during the 2026 NFL Draft.
ANALYSIS
New offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel reportedly had significant interest in Thompson because of his blazing 4.26 40-yard dash, reminiscent of the wide receiver archetype he valued as a head coach in Miami. It's hard to tell if the Chargers will have designated plays for Thompson, or if they will continue to feature Harris, the 2025 second-round pick who made his bones at the collegiate level as a RPO specialist. Harris' rookie year was relatively mundane (30-324-1) despite playing all 17 regular-season games, but with Keenan Allen potentially on his way out, there overall could be more opportunities available in Los Angeles in what figures to be a more pass-happy scheme.

Harris landed in Los Angeles this spring with the 55th overall pick, after a prolific college career in which he topped 900 yards each of the past three seasons. His production even reached a new level in 2024, at least on a per-game basis, with Harris putting up 60-1,030-7 in just eight games for Ole Miss. The downside is that he's already 23 years old and may not be fast enough (4.54 40) for his big-play ability from college to fully translate to the pros. Harris does have good size, at 6-foot-2, 205, and he might prove to be a better downfield threat than Quentin Johnston and Keenan Allen. The Chargers want to run the ball a lot, and then throw it to Ladd McConkey, but there's a path to Year 1 fantasy value for Harris as a better version of what Johnston provided in 2024.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could play bigger role Week 6
Harris could see added opportunities against the Dolphins in Week 6, as Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports that Quentin Johnston is trending toward being unavailable due to a hamstring injury.
ANALYSIS
Harris has seen limited playing time thus far as Johnston, Keenan Allen and Ladd McConkey have featured in three-receiver sets over the rookie second-round pick. Johnston's officially listed as questionable against Miami, but if the latter sits, Harris would likely slide into Johnston's usual role as the team's downfield jump-ball receiver while Allen and McConkey continue to use their shiftiness to get free underneath.
