2024 Fantasy Outlook
Rudolph started the final four games, including playoffs, last season and was better than decent for the Steelers. In Weeks 16-18, he was second in the league in both completion percentage (74.6) and YPA (10.1) before falling to the Bills in the wild-card playoffs and finishing with a 5/1 TD/INT. The Steelers re-made their QB room this offseason, though, and Rudolph signed a one-year deal with the Titans where he will compete with Malik Willis to back up Will Levis. Rudolph is big and strong (6-5, 235) but doesn’t have the arm power nor the speed of Willis. If he wins the backup job and finds his way to snaps, he at least will have a good receiving corps to target in Calvin Ridley, DeAndre Hopkins and Tyler Boyd. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Starting again Week 17
Titans head coach Brian Callahan said Tuesday that Rudolph will make another start Sunday against Jacksonville, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Rudolph took over the starting job from Will Levis in this past Sunday's 38-30 loss to the Colts and threw for 252 yards and two touchdowns, though he also tossed three interceptions. Despite the uneven performance, Rudolph will stick in the starting role for at least another week, and he'll have a soft matchup against the Jaguars, who rank last in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game (263.0) on the season. Meanwhile, Levis will presumably remain Tennessee's backup quarterback after beginning the season as the team's No. 1 signal-caller.

Rudolph appeared in just seven games between the 2020 and 2021 campaigns, and he was the No. 3 quarterback on the Steelers' depth chart last year behind Kenny Pickett and Mitch Trubisky. Pickett and Trubisky remain with the team ahead of the 2023 season, and although Rudolph rejoined Pittsburgh on a one-year deal in mid-May, it seems unlikely he'll have a fantasy-relevant role.

Taking over starting job
Rudolph will serve as the Titans' starting quarterback for Sunday's game against the Colts and has the support of outgoing starter Will Levis, who was demoted to the No. 2 role, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Rudolph played well after Levis was benched early in the second half against Cincinnati on Sunday, throwing for 209 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80.8 percent of his passes. Rudolph noted Wednesday he sympathized with Levis after having been removed from starting positions before, but he added the relationship between the two was good so there was "nothing weird about it."
