2024 Fantasy Outlook
After a dynamic rookie season as a return man, teams avoided kicking the ball to Turpin last year, and his yardage dropped from 811 in 2022 to 371. He saw more work on offense, though, and Turpin scored his first career NFL touchdowns last season - three on the ground, one through the air - despite getting only 23 total touches. With RB Tony Pollard and WR Michael Gallup both gone, the Cowboys are relying on internal options to step up, and Turpin's usage as a gadget player could increase again. The 27-year-old isn't likely to become a full-time offensive player, however. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Modest production in win
Turpin failed to secure his lone target in Sunday's 30-14 win over the Panthers.
ANALYSIS
Though Turpin didn't record a reception Sunday, he did manage to gain 27 yards on two rushing attempts against the Panthers. The speedy wideout played just 14 of the Cowboys' 73 offensive snaps and was held without a catch for just the fourth time all season. Turpin is a dynamic weapon, but he does not see enough consistent usage in the Cowboys offense to be a viable fantasy asset. With that said, the 28-year-old will look to be more involved in Week 16 against a vulnerable Tampa Bay secondary.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
The 26-year-old parlayed an MVP season in the USFL into a contract with the Cowboys last summer, and Turpin solved the team's kick-return woes in his first NFL campaign. The TCU product didn't see much action on offense, however, catching just one pass and taking a few carries on jet sweeps. While there could be some depth snaps at wide receiver available following the departure of Noah Brown, Dallas did trade for Brandin Cooks this offseason and still has CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup at the top of the depth chart. It's hard to see Turpin making much of an impact outside of his return duties in 2023.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Reaches fastest speed this season
Turpin reached a top speed of 22.36 miles per hour during his 64-yard touchdown catch Monday against the Texans, per Next Gen Stats, which is the fastest speed by a ball carrier this season and the fastest mark by a Cowboys ball carrier since this data became available in 2016.
ANALYSIS
Turpin showed off his blazing speed after getting into the open field, out-running Houston's defense for what turned out to be Dallas' only touchdown in a 34-10 loss. While most of Turpin's touches come on special teams as a punt and kickoff returner, the Cowboys would likely benefit on offense if they were able to get the ball into the speedster's hands in space more frequently.
