The 39th match of Big Bash League is set to be played between the Melbourne Stars taking on Adelaide Strikers on Wednesday. This match will be the second encounter between them in this tournament where Strikers defeated Stars during the first phase of the tournament with 41 runs. Can Stars take revenge for their loss in this match?

Melbourne Stars has already named unchanged squad to take on Strikers after successfully ending their three match losing streak when they won against Renegades in previous match after the arrival of four Australian ODI quartet. Stars has been excellently and they managed to restrict Renegades for 121 runs under 20 overs. They would like to replicate the same bowling performance against Strikers. In batting department except Marcus Stoinis other top three batsmen failed to cross single digit score. There are lot to improve in their batting performance if they want to win against Strikers. Wicket-keeper: Peter Handscomb (9 credits)

In wicket-keeper section we are picking Handscomb over Alex Carey as Handscomb was in good form throughout the series which he played against India, but he did not perform well in his previous match against Renegades. But he cannot be underestimated with the bat he has the ability to play comfortably against spin as like as he plays against pace. So, he will be the key player for Stars in middle-order to tackle Rashid Khan's bowling. Handscomb has played only two matches in this tournament and scored 78 runs with the highest run 70 came against Sydney Sixers. He has an average of 39 with hefty strike-rate of 173.33. The 27 year-old has played 54 T20s and scored 776 runs with an average of 22.82 with the strike-rate of 117.57. He is the player to watch out for against Strikers.

Batsman: Colin Ingram (9.5 credits)

The Strikers' captain Colin Ingram is one of the best player to select from the batting department that no one wants to miss him. Ingram features in the list of top five leading run-scorer of this tournament. As a captain he has the main responsibility of scoring runs so that he can take team up. Ingram has scored 292 runs in nine matches with the average of 36.50 and has a hefty strike-rate of 150.51. He is one of the most destructive batsmen in the Strikers line-up when he keeps going no one cannot stop him from scoring big. He is the key batsmen for Strikers. By looking at his performance in previous matches he is the man to watch out for in batting department.

All-rounder: Marcus Stoinis (10 credits)

He is the top run-getter for Stars with 216 runs in just six matches while scoring at an average of 72 and has a strike-rate of 133.33 and also he picked seven wickets in this tournament by giving runs at an average of 7.69. A middle-order batsman has been promoted up to open the innings with Ben Dunk against Renegades and guess what he has smashed 70 runs while opening the inning and helped the team to win the match single headedly and also he has picked three wickets in four overs by giving just 19 runs. The 29 year-old has played 78 T20s in his career and has scored 1189 runs at the strike-rate of 123.85 and picked 52 wickets He is a complete all-round package that everyone must have in their team.

Bowler: Rashid Khan (10 credits)

The Afghan international features in the list of top 10 wicket-takers list in this tournament with 13 wickets to his name and bowling excellently at an economy of 5.36 in nine matches. Rashid Khan's most dangerous ball googly can cause more troubles to the top-order batsmen if gets opportunity to bowl inside the power play. The 20 year-old in just short span of time he has played 147 T20s around the world in his career were he has picked huge 220 wickets at an economy of 6.04 and also a handy right-hand batsman were he can fire some quick runs.
