FanDuel NBA: PHO at MIL Game 4 Plays

FanDuel NBA: PHO at MIL Game 4 Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

The Bucks will try to even the series in Game 4 tonight, and we have another single-game contest available. Let's first look at a winning lineup from Game 3 in one of FanDuel's more popular multi-entry contests.

Giannis Antetokounmpo 135.2

Jrue Holiday 65.25

Khris Middleton 43.68

Cameron Johnson 22

Jae Crowder 29.7

The switch to Milwaukee's home turf produced a W for the Bucks, as many expected. A trio of Bucks in the multipliers proved to cement the win in this GPP contest. The utility build of Cameron Johnson and Crowder was interesting. While Johnson wasn't a surprise, Crowder's total showed the volatility present between him and Bridges, who was popular but didn't produce as expected.

MULTIPLIER CANDIDATES

Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL ($16,000)

Khris Middleton, MIL ($13,500)

Chris Paul, PHO ($14,000)

Deandre Ayton, PHO ($12,000)

Jrue Holiday, MIL ($12,000)

I see no reason not to go back to the well with the Bucks tonight. Antetokounmpo should retain ownership of the 2x spot, and I still like Middleton at home. The player most likely to break up the multiplier love fest is Paul, who could easily outplay Holiday if his shots begin to fall. Ayton is Phoenix's other strong possibility.

MULTIPLIER CANDIDATES

Cameron Johnson, PHO ($9,000)

Jae Crowder, PHO ($9,500)

Pat Connaughton, MIL ($8,500)

Bobby Portis, MIL ($8,000)

P.J. Tucker, MIL ($7,500)

Mikal Bridges, PHO ($10,000)

We have to start looking on the low end of this list (Portis, Tucker) if we include Paul in the mix, as a Giannis/Middleton/Paul mix would only yield us $8,250 per spot. Keeping a Giannis/Middleton/Holiday mix gives us a bit more leeway with $9,250 per player. It's an increase we need if we want to create the Game 3 winning lineup, but it also allows for a Crowder pivot to Bridges.

ALTERNATIVE BUILDS

While not exactly contrarian, Devin Booker ($14,000) remains a big wild card in this series. There's merit in including him in multipliers because his output is critical for the Suns to leave Milwaukee with a 2-1 lead. There isn't much movement in the utility builds but the variance in the multiplier centers around Booker and what he could do.
