The Timberwolves-Hawks matchup should be a high-scoring and competitive contest with some great top-tier talent, along with a few extra value opportunities resulting from injuries.
Karl-Anthony Towns and Trae Young are the two highest-priced players in the contest but make good picks, as they have both been putting up big numbers and are in position to lead their respective teams once again.
D'Angelo Russell, Anthony Edwards and Jarred Vanderbilt all come with very reasonable midrange price tags considering their recent production for the Timberwolves. Malik Beasley and Jaden McDaniels are priced for value.
On the Hawks' side, John Collins is a solid midpriced option. Kevin Huerter is priced for value, considering he will get a boost without Bogdan Bogdanovic in the lineup. Danilo Gallinari, De'Andre Hunter and Onyeka Okongwu also stand out as great value opportunities.

Elite Players
Guards
Trae Young ($9,800)
Young continues to come up huge for the Hawks, with 59 points over the last two games. He accounted for 51 DK points in his last outing and is averaging 28.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 9.6 assists, over his last 10 games. The Hawks play host to the Timberwolves in what should be a high-scoring and competitive contest.
James Harden ($11,600)
Harden will have to step up for the Nets, as Kevin Durant remains sidelined. Harden has topped 47 DK points in each of his last five games, including three outings where he topped 59 DK points. The Nets have a tough matchup as they take on the Wizards in Washington, but Harden will not be up against any defensive stoppers in the backcourt.
Forwards/Centers
Jimmy Butler ($9,100)
With Kyle Lowry sidelined, Butler will need to continue to come up big for the Heat. Butler logged a triple-double in his last outing and has topped 46 DK points in two of the last three games. He has an advantageous matchup, as the Heat play host to the shorthanded Trail Blazers.
Giannis Antetokounmpo ($12,000)
Giannis continues to put up massive numbers, averaging 31.4 points, 10.0 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.2 blocks over the last 10 games. He has topped 50 DK points six times in the last 10 games, including four instances where he topped 60 DK points. Giannis will need to come up big as the Bucks play host to the Grizzlies.
Joel Embiid ($11,000)
Embiid will have an advantage as the 76ers play host to the shorthanded Magic. Embiid is averaging 31.4 points, 9.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.1 blocks over the last 10 games, and he has topped 50 DK points seven times over that span.
Expected Chalk
Nikola Jokic ($12,400)
The Nuggets play host to the Clippers, who are giving up an average of 48.1 rebounds per game, which is second most in the league. Jokic is averaging 23.7 points, 14.3 rebounds, 7.7 assists and 1.3 steals per contest, and he has topped 50 DK points seven times over that span. Jokic has logged a triple-double in each of the last two outings.
Value Picks
Day'Ron Sharpe ($4,400)
Sharpe has been playing well for the Nets and is up for another start with Nicolas Claxton sidelined. Sharpe has topped 25 DK points in four of the last five games.
Danilo Gallinari ($4,200)
Since the Hawks traded Cam Reddish, and with Bogdan Bogdanovic sidelined, Gallinari will continue to pick up extra value. Gallinari has topped 20 DK points in six of the last eight games, and he should have an advantage against the Timberwolves' second unit.
Furkan Korkmaz ($4,300)
With Shake Milton, Danny Green and Matisse Thybulle out, Korkmaz will continue to see a boost in his role. He accounted for 24.5 DK points in the Sixers' last game and will have an advantage going up against a struggling Magic team.
Isaac Okoro ($4,000)
Okoro is expected to start and will likely pick up a few additional minutes with Lamar Stevens sidelined. Okoro logged 22.2 DK points in the last contest and has the advantage of going up against the Bulls' shorthanded backcourt.
Gabe Vincent ($4,500)
Vincent is up for another start in place of Kyle Lowry. Vincent generated 25 DK points in the last contest and has an advantageous matchup against the Trail Blazers' shorthanded backcourt.
