Best NBA Bets Today (Wednesday, April 1)
Karl-Anthony Towns over 12.5 rebounds (-125) at Memphis Grizzlies
Hard Rock, 3:21 PM ET
Alex Barutha: Towns' two worst rebounding games lately were against two teams great on the glass -- eight boards against the Rockets and three boards against the Hornets. Before his three most recent games, he had double-digit boards in 12 of his prior 13 games for a 13.2 average. It doesn't get much better than this matchup, as the Grizzlies are allowing the most rebounds per 48 minutes across the past 10 games (51.1).
Ja'Kobe Walter over 2.5 made threes (+148) vs. Sacramento Kings
BetRivers, 3:27 PM ET
Alex Barutha: The Kings are allowing opponents to make 16.8 threes per 48 minutes across the past 10 games -- the most in the NBA. Brandon Ingram and Immanuel Quickley have already been ruled out for this game, and Scottie Barnes is questionable. No matter what happens with Barnes, Walter should be in for a bigger role. He's made a three in 10 straight games for an average of 2.8 makes on 57%. That efficiency isn't sustainable, but this isn't the matchup where I'd bank on it ending.
Jamal Shead over 8.5 AST (+112) vs. Sacramento Kings
BetRivers, 3:17 PM ET
Nick Whalen: Toronto will be without both Immanuel Quickley and Brandon Ingram tonight, while Scottie Barnes is also listed questionable. That should equate to increased opportunity for Shead, who's been a steady part of the rotation — mostly off the bench — all season. Shead has racked up 22 assists over his last two games and gets a plus matchup against a Kings team that gives up nearly 30 assists per game and is actively trying to work its way into a bottom-three record.
