2026 Fantasy Outlook
Marsh struggled to a .387 OPS through mid-April, then missed a couple weeks with a strained hamstring. After returning in early May, he slashed .303/.358/.478 the rest of the way, though he added a modest 10 homers and seven steals. For his career, Marsh is a .261 hitter who averages a respectable 14.9 homers and 14.9 steals per 600 trips to the plate, which theoretically means he's the sort of cross-category contributor worth prioritizing with a late-round pick, but his value is capped by his role. Marsh has never been trusted to play regularly against lefties, making just 10 starts against southpaws last season. That's unlikely to change, as he's a career .213/.278/.303 hitter (good for a 61 wRC+) against them with a 38.4 K%. That's limited him to a career high of 476 plate appearances (set in 2024), reducing his counting stats and keeping him as mostly a deep-league option. Read Past Outlooks
Homers again Wednesday
Marsh went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 10-6 win over the Pirates.
Analysis
Marsh extended the Phillies' lead to 6-2 in the third inning with a solo shot off Paul Skenes. It's the 15th homer of the season for Marsh, leaving him one shy of his career high. The outfielder has been red hot at the plate, going 16-for-43 (.372) with six home runs and a 1.237 OPS over his last 10 games. It's been a breakout campaign overall for the 28-year-old Marsh, who's now slashing .319/.352/.530 with 46 RBI, 50 runs scored and eight stolen bases across 324 plate appearances.

Marsh remained a useful contributor to the Phillies and to fantasy teams last season but didn't take many meaningful steps forward in his age-26 campaign. He managed double digits in homers and steals for the third straight year, though he's yet to reach 20 in either category, with his 16 homers and 19 steals last season both representing career highs. He's yet to post a strikeout rate under 30%, but he hits the ball hard, with a 10.0% barrel rate last year helping him to a .249/.328/.419 line (108 wRC+) despite all the whiffs. A player with a competent bat and a strong glove in the outfield could lead drafters to dream about big counting-stat totals should Marsh be able to blow past the career-high 476 plate appearances he managed last season, but that might be unwise. The Phillies have generally been unwilling to use him in anything more than a platoon role, and given his .216/.276/.305 career slash line against southpaws, that's unlikely to change any time soon.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Strong play rewarded with ASG nod
Marsh was announced as an outfield starter for the National League in the All-Star Game on July 14, per MLB.com.
Analysis
It's the first All-Star selection of Marsh's career, who was joined by Phillies teammates Kyle Schwarber, Bryce Harper, Jhoan Duran and Cristopher Sanchez on the initial NL roster. Marsh is in the midst of a career-best season, sporting a .310/.342/.514 slash line with eight steals, 15 home runs and 46 RBI across 333 plate appearances. He signed a one-year, $5.2 million contract with the Phillies in January to avoid arbitration, but that number seems certain to go up on his next deal.
