The Skinny
The first matchup on the slate features two teams with very different paces, as the Liberty carry the highest pace of any team in the WNBA, while the Wings rank 10th in that category. However, the Wings are still in contention for a playoff spot while the Liberty have been eliminated. As a result, Dallas should be slightly more reliable to depend on key players to make an impact. The Wings will be without Allisha Gray (knee) once again, which could result in heightened roles for Tyasha Harris and Bella Alarie. Although the two have seen increased playing time recently, their output has been limited in most areas. Arike Ogunbowale has been one of the Wings' top performers all season, and she's been on another level recently with at least 38 points in two of the past three games. The Liberty allow scoring at a high rate while allowing more field goals per game than any other team in the league, which could allow Ogunbowale to have another monster game Sunday, especially with both Gray and Satou Sabally (head) unable to play. New York also struggles to secure rebounds, which could benefit Kayla Thornton, along with Astou Ndour (knee), who carries a questionable tag heading into Sunday's season finale.
The Liberty sit in last place in the WNBA, so it's unclear how the team's key players will be used. New York has also struggled mightily on the scoreboard as a team recently, and the squad will be playing on a second consecutive day after posting just 58 points Saturday against the Mystics. The Wings allow the highest three-point percentage of any team in the league, which could allow Kiah Stokes and Kia Nurse to have big games as the two have consistently been some of the top shooters from beyond the arc for the club. Much like the Liberty, the Wings also struggle against rebounds. Stokes, Amanda Zahui B and Jazmine Jones could all benefit as a result as they've been dominant on the boards in recent contests. It's unclear whether Layshia Clarendon (back) will be able to suit up Sunday, and Jones could see increased minutes along with Paris Kea if she's unable to take the court. Jones has been the more consistent player for the Liberty this season, but Kea has also shown flashes of production recently, even though it's been on a more inconsistent basis.

The Skinny
The matchup between the Aces and Storm could offer a preview of what's to come later in the playoffs as the teams will be fighting for the No. 1 seed in Sunday's season finale. Although both teams have already secured byes into the semifinals, Sunday's contest should be competitive as the two squads attempt to secure the top seed. Assuming the players see their normal usage, the matchup should be one of the most appealing from a DFS standpoint as the Aces and Storm each rank in the top half of the league in pace while boasting the top two offensive efficiencies. A'ja Wilson has strengthened her MVP case recently as she's topped 20 points in eight of the last 10 games while averaging 8.8 rebounds per game during that time. While the Storm have allowed the fewest points per game of any team this season, Wilson has been able to pull off her recent hot streak against a wide variety of defenses. Angel McCoughtry and Kayla McBride have also had strong showings on the scoreboard on a more inconsistent basis. While the three players averaged 18.0 points among them during Saturday's win against the Sparks, it's unclear whether they'll be able to maintain that production against the staunch Storm defense, especially since Seattle allows the lowest field goal percentage in the WNBA. Dearica Hamby totaled 10 assists over the past two games, and she could put up similar marks against the Storm, who are an average team against rebounds. Danielle Robinson has also seen 20-plus minutes in each of the past two contests and carries a lower salary in DFS contests than the aforementioned four players do. She's usually capped by a lower shot volume, but she had the highest assist total and second-highest scoring marks the first time the teams met in late August.
The Storm are dealing with several key injuries on their side as both Breanna Stewart (foot) and Sue Bird (knee) are questionable heading into Sunday's contest. Even if the two players suit up, they could face workload restrictions to prevent a more serious injury heading into the playoffs. Mercedes Russell replaced Stewart in the starting five Friday, while Jordin Canada started in place of Bird. The two would presumably do so again if they're unable to play, and they could see increased time on the court even if Stewart and Bird are able to play. Prior to her injury, Stewart was the top scorer for Seattle as she scored 20-plus points in five of the last seven games. No single player stepped up on the scoreboard in her absence Saturday as the team instead had six players with at least 10 points, while nobody had more than 13. While Canada led the team in scoring Saturday, Jewell Loyd and Natasha Howard have posted high scoring totals on a more consistent basis, even when Stewart is on the court. Both of their production is aided by high marks from the charity stripe, but they could have more trouble in that area Sunday since the Aces send opponents to the foul line less than any other team. Additionally, Las Vegas thrives against rebounds, which could adversely impact Howard and Alysha Clark, while Clark and Sami Whitcomb could also have trouble against the Aces' strong three-point defense.

The Skinny
The Dream and Mystics also have something to play for as they'll be fighting to secure a spot in the playoffs. Washington has the slowest pace in the league, but the team will be going up an Atlanta defense that allows the second-highest scoring totals on a per-game basis. The Mystics have relied heavily on their core group of players in recent games, and it's hard to imagine that trend would change Sunday with a playoff spot on the line. Even though they'll be playing on a second consecutive day for the first time this season, they should continue to call on their starters to play massive roles. Myisha Hines-Allen had been a bit inconsistent to begin the season, but she's been on a tear recently as she's had at least 19 points in each of the past five games. She's also been productive on the boards against some of the top teams against rebounds this season. The Dream are a middling team against rebounds, so it's unlikely that Hines-Allen will have many issues in that area Sunday. Ariel Atkins has also put up double figures in the scoring column in five of the last seven games. Part of her dominance has also been through her ability to record assists, and she shouldn't have much trouble doing so against the Dream, who allow more assists than nearly any other team. Emma Meesseman had a slight downturn in production Saturday with just eight points against the Liberty, but part of that could be due to the fact that the game wasn't very competitive. In what should be a more competitive contest Sunday, Meesseman could very well return to form. Leilani Mitchell and Kiara Leslie have also seen significant playing time, but each of them have been slightly less consistent on the stat sheet and make for riskier plays in DFS contests.
Courtney Williams has been dominant for the Dream this season as she's recorded double-digit scoring totals in each of her appearances over the past month. She should have her way again Sunday against the middling Washington defense. Betnijah Laney has also been a dominant force in multiple areas as she's averaged 18.0 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists over the past four games. The Dream have also had little trouble securing rebounds in recent contests as Laney, Courtney Williams, Elizabeth Williams and Monique Billings have all led the way for Atlanta in that area. They should continue to play large roles on the boards during Sunday's crucial contest as both teams allow a high number of rebounds. Chennedy Carter has also quickly returned to form after missing six games in the middle of August due to an ankle injury. Since her return, she's averaging 16.7 points over 24.0 minutes per game. Blake Dietrick has seen ample minutes recently, but much of her production comes through assists. The Mystics are one of the top teams at preventing assists, so she could face some struggles in that area Sunday. Shekinna Stricklen topped 20 minutes in each of the past two games and has led the team in three-point attempts on a fairly regular basis. The Mystics allow a high conversion rate from beyond the arc, but she hasn't shown enough production with her opportunities to warrant too much DFS consideration.
