Patrick Dorgu

21-Year-Old Midfielder/DefenderM/D

OUT
Injury Hamstring
Est. Return 5/2/2026
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Dorgu joined Manchester United in the January transfer window and immediately became a regular, starting 10 his 12 Premier League appearances. He offers decent upside in some categories, such as crosses and tackles, but he was far from being a game-changing player on the left side of the defense. Dorgu has the potential to produce more as seen in his time at Lecce, but United don't really have that No. 9 who will connect and head in crosses. Wing-backs always provide a bit more value in fantasy and there's a chance Dorgu sees an uptick in his averages next season, but projecting more than five goal contributions seems like a stretch for the 20-year-old.
Trains on grass
M/DManchester United
OUT
April 5, 2026
Dorgu (hamstring) was training on grass Sunday, according to his club.
ANALYSIS
Dorgu is back in training this week as he continues to work on rehabilitation from a hamstring injury, with the defender getting a boost to training on grass with a ball. This is massive news for the defender as he looks to make his return, now needing to join team training. He is eyeing a return in May, hoping not to miss the rest of the season.

Dorgu (hamstring) is set to miss weeks of action after a serious injury was confirmed, according to manager Michael Carrick. "Pat is going to be out for a period of time. We're still working through how long that's going to be. He's had such a good couple of weeks and we weren't sure if it was cramp or something more serious, but it looks more serious. Whether it's a few weeks or more, we're going to have to wait and see. Unfortunately, it's something you have to work through in football."

Scores goal before injury
M/DManchester United
OUT
January 25, 2026
Dorgu was forced off in the 81st minute of Sunday's match against Arsenal due to an apparent injury, according to manager Michael Carrick. "Pat's been a big player for us, obviously he's scored two goals but in terms of the threat and athleticism and quality, he's been immense down the side with Luke [Shaw] against two teams that ask a lot of questions. I am delighted for him because the two goals he's scored are very different goals. It's nice to see him smiling and happy. He obviously came off with, hopefully, a little bit of cramp, hopefully, it's nothing worse. At this stage, it's hard to tell, so we'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully it's not too bad."
