2025 Fantasy Outlook
Diallo started in 20 of his 26 Premier League appearances in 2024/25, but he would've earned more playing time if hadn't he missed more than two months due to an ankle injury. The winger, who was deployed in a number of roles since the arrival of Ruben Amorim, was Manchester United's best player at times. His position on the pitch will determine his upside for the 2025/26 campaign, as he'd be far more valuable in fantasy if he plays as an attacking midfielder rather than as a wing-back in the 3-4-2-1. Diallo notched 14 goal contributions in 2024/25 and should have higher upside as long as he isn't glued to a wing-back role. He's expected to be one of the first Manchester United players off the board and is likely to be a decent target in early-to-mid rounds given his floor, positional versatility and upside.
Second straight bench appearance
Diallo recorded one cross (zero accurate) and one corner across 14 minutes in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to Newcastle United.
ANALYSIS
Benjamin Sesko's recent form has pushed Diallo to the bench for the second game running, the first time this season he has featured as a substitute in consecutive games. Though the winger's difficulties go beyond that, with no goal contributions in his first six starts since returning from AFCON.
