Looks to stay hot vs. Burns
Malott will take on Gilbert Burns in a welterweight bout at UFC Winnipeg on April 18, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Malott enters the fight red hot, having won his last three bouts, pushing his UFC record to 6-1. Most recently, he handled business against Kevin Holland via unanimous decision back in October of 2025. He'll look to make it four straight wins against Burns, who himself has suffered four straight losses and will be desperate to get back on the winning side of the Octagon.

Earns biggest win of career
Malott defeated Kevin Holland via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Vancouver.
ANALYSIS
It's the biggest win of Malott's career, although it came under what we will term "unusual" circumstances. Malott clipped Holland with two low blows in Round 1. Both were accidental, but the second was so severe that Holland needed to take the entire five minutes to "recover." He continued to fight but was clearly severely hampered the rest of the way. When you take into consideration how compromised his opponent was, Malott's performance was fairly middling, but he did enough to win, and that's all that really matters. The Canadian improves to 6-1 in the UFC and the lone setback was a fight against Neil Magny in which Malott dominated the entire time before being knocked out with 15 seconds left.

Facing Kevin Holland
Malott will take on Kevin Holland in a middleweight bout at UFC Vancouver on October 18, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Malott is off to quite the start in his UFC career, with a 5-1 record and winning his last two bouts. He most recently took care of Charles Radtke in the second round of a fight back in May. Holland is way more experienced that Malott and gives up two inches of height and eight inches of reach, but Malott looks like the more consistent fighter.

Another strong performance
Malott defeated Charlie Radtke via KO (punches) at 0:26 of Round 2 at UFC 315 on Saturday in Montreal.
ANALYSIS
Fighting in his native Canada for a second straight time, Malott put forth another strong effort as a -220 favorite. He got the better of Radtke in what was a fairly uneventful Round 1 before earning the stoppage early in Round 2. It began with one left hand and finished with a few vicious follow-up shots. Malott will be 34 years of age in November, so he's too old to be considered a prospect, but he now has wins in five of his first six UFC bouts. The lone setback was a fight against Neil Magny in which he dominated early on before gassing and getting finished with 15 seconds left. There's still some potential long-term upside here.

Next fight booked
Malott will face off against Charlie Radtke at UFC 315 on May 10, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Marlott, who most recently defeated Trevin Giles at UFC Fight Night 246, will match up against Charles Radtke in May. The 33-year-old Canadian fighter is 4-1 during his time with the UFC with his sole loss coming against Neil Magny at UFC 297.

Takes decision in home country
Malott defeated Trevin Giles via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Edmonton.
ANALYSIS
Fresh off the first loss of his UFC career, a knockout defeat to Neil Magny in January in which he dominated the whole way before gassing out and getting finished with 15 seconds left, Malott got back in the win column, but was highly unimpressive in the process. He appeared to intentionally scale back his volume in hopes of preserving his gas tank. Luckily for Malott, Giles accomplished even less. Earning the victory was the most important thing, but the type of effort we saw from Malott tonight isn't going to be enough to defeat any top-15 UFC welterweight. He needs to be better his next time out.
