Luke Riley

England
Remains undefeated as pro
Riley defeated Kai Kamaka via TKO (strikes) at 3:03 of Round 1 at UFC 329 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
While a lot of the talk here will be about the questionable stoppage by referee Kerry Hatley, the bottom line is that Riley looked awesome. Again. It took him a couple minutes to find his footing, but once he did he dropped Kamaka with a right hand before intelligently unloading with a variety of follow-up shots. Riley has shown zero grappling through three UFC fights, but he's a real threat on the feet. He's racked up knockouts of Kamaka and Bogdan Grad in addition to a sweep on the scorecards over Michael Aswell. Riley turned just 27 years of age a few weeks ago.

Will risk perfect record at UFC 329
Riley will face Kai Kamaka in a featherweight bout at UFC 329 on July 11, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Riley has a bright future ahead of him, and while he's just 2-0 at the UFC level, he has shown elite ability in his two fights. The last one was against Michael Aswell on March 21, a bout he won by unanimous decision. Riley will be facing an opponent that started his second tenure with the promotion with a win earlier this year.

Perfect record remains
Riley defeated Michael Aswell via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in London.
ANALYSIS
This was a big fight for Riley, competing in a co-main event spot in his native England in just his second fight with the company. He won an easy unanimous decision despite being unable to get the game Aswell out of there. The latter tried to wear Riley down with volume, but the bigger shots came from Luke's side. Riley is going to have to continue to damage his opposition on the feet and do so consistently, because he offers nothing in terms of grappling. Riley has a bright future but at age 26, expect some bumps in the road along the way.

ANALYSIS
After knocking out Bogdan Grad at UFC Qatar in November, Riley will look to go 2-0 by defeating Aswell, also coming off a KO/TKO in his promotion debut. It will be a battle between two up-and-coming prospects, both under the age of 27 going into their London fight.

Makes mark in debut fight
Riley defeated Bogdan Grad via KO (punches) at 0:30 of Round 2 at UFC Qatar on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Riley battled some adversity early, as he gave up four takedowns and 3:55 of control time in an opening frame that clearly went to Grad. Fortunately for Riley, all rounds start on the feet, and he was able to find a huge left hand in the opening moments of Round 2. He leaped on his compromised opponent and put Grad's lights out with ground-and-pound that had Marc Goddard rushing in. Riley's undefeated record stays in tact, and he'll go home with a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus for his efforts here.

Fighting Grad in November
Riley will take on Bogdan Grad at UFC Qatar on November 22, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Riley will make his UFC debut in Qatar against Grad, putting his perfect 11-0 professional record across promotions on the line. The 26-year-old Englishman will take a slight height advantage into the bout over the more experienced Romanian fighter. With eight of Riley's professional victories coming via KO/TKO along with Grad's stellar 9-1 professional record in such finishes, expect lots of fireworks in this one.
