Entering as a +460 underdog, Figueiredo got off to as good of a start as possible, winning a cautious opening frame on two of the three scorecards. He started to absorb significantly more damage in Round 2, which led to Figgy attempting a lazy double-leg takedown which immediately resulted in the guillotine choke and him tapping out. It's simply a mistake a 38-year-old former champion cannot be making at this level. Of course, Figueiredo was a massive underdog for a reason.
