BantamweightUFC
April 4, 2026
Mesquita will take on Melissa Mullins in a bantamweight bout at UFC Vegas 119 on June 20, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Mesquita is off to a great start in her UFC career, having won her first two bouts. Most recently, she bested Montse Rendon via Rear Naked Choke in the first round of a fight back in March. She'll look for a 3-0 start againsst an opponent in Mullins who also has two victories and is also coming off a win in her last bout.

Rolls as biggest favorite on card
BantamweightUFC
March 14, 2026
Mesquita defeated Montserrat Rendon via submission (rear-naked choke) at 2:07 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Mesquita was a -700 favorite by the time the opening bell rang, and she probably should have been closer to -7000. This was as lopsided a fight as you will ever see. Bia landed two awkward right hands early on which left Rendon wobbled. Mesquita quickly forced her to the mat and mauled her opponent before clamping on the rear-naked choke. Mesquita has just seven professional fights under her belt, including two with the UFC (Rendon, Irina Alekseeva), but given her age (35 in April) and legendary BJJ exploits, the company should give her a top-15 opponent, at a minimum, her next time out.
Seeking 2-0 UFC start

Mesquita will take on Montserrat Rendon in a bantamweight bout at UFC Vegas 115 on March 14, per Danny Segura of MMA Junkie.
ANALYSIS
Mesquita topped Irina Alekseeva via a Rear Naked Choke back in October, winning her UFC debut bout. Now, she'll look to start 2-0 in the promotion against a fighter in Rendon who is also off to a good start, sitting at 2-1 and also coming off a victory.
BJJ wiz flawless in debut
BantamweightUFC
October 11, 2025
Mesquita defeated Irina Alekseeva via submission (rear-naked choke) at 2:14 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
ANALYSIS
Arguably the most decorated female competitor in the history of BJJ, Mesquita made her UFC debut here as a -600 favorite and wasn't tested in the least. She mounted an overmatched Alekseeva repeatedly without issue and displayed some strong ground-and-pound. Of course, Mesquita's greatest strength is on the mat, and she showed that in choking Alekseeva out in an instant. The finish would go on to earn her a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus. Bia is already 34 years old and has just six professional MMA fights under her belt, but she's going to roll through fringe-roster opposition such as Alekseeva all day long. It will be interesting to see how quickly the company decides to push her.
Making UFC debut vs. Alekseeva
BantamweightUFC
July 31, 2025
Mesquita will make her UFC debut in a bantamweight bout versus Irina Alekseeva at UFC Rio on October 11, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Mesquita has won four straight LFA bouts, and now gets to make her debut with the UFC in her home country. She'll face an opponent who is more experienced in the promotion than her with three fights under her belt. Still, Alekseeva is coming off two straight losses. This is a big one for both fighters.
