2026 Fantasy Outlook
Klare, a second-round pick out of Ohio State, joins a crowded Rams TE room that already includes Colby Parkinson, Tyler Higbee, Terrance Ferguson and Davis Allen. Those four combined for 150 targets last season, with only 25 of those going to Ferguson, a 2025 second-round pick. Parkinson was easily the most productive of the bunch last year, especially in the red zone, but Klare and Ferguson are the upside plays for fantasy, with potential to eventually earn three-down roles in an offense where WRs Puka Nacua and Davante Adams are the clear lead targets. Klare filled a similar role at Ohio State last year while sharing the field with a superstar WR duo, catching 43 passes for 448 yards and two TDs (after recording a 51-685-4 line at Purdue in 2024). He had occasional struggles with drops but was adept at getting open in college, with receiving ability considered the strength of his game, whereas his blocking was merely adequate. Klare is a bit thin by NFL TE standards, having checked in at 6-foot-5, 246 at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine, where he took part in positional drills but skipped physical tests (after recovering from an ankle injury). The landing spot in Los Angeles could eventually work out well for dynasty purposes, but it's harder to figure out an early path to more than a few targets per game. Read Past Outlooks

The Rams selected Klare in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 61st overall.
ANALYSIS
Klare (6-foot-4, 246 pounds) is a natural fit for head coach Sean McVay's offense, having showcased natural acumen as a route runner during college along with solid speed and athleticism, though he didn't take part in drills at the combine and has room for improvement as a blocker. As a redshirt junior at Ohio State in 2025, Klare totaled 43 receptions for 448 yards and two touchdowns on 56 targets across 14 games. As a rookie, however, Klare's opportunities project to be significantly limited as he works to establish himself in one of the NFL's most crowded TE rooms. All of Colby Parkinson, Tyler Higbee, Terrance Ferguson and Davis Allen had roles on offense in 2025.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Snagged by Miami in Reuter mock
Chad Reuter of NFL.com has the Dolphins selecting Klare in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 90th overall.
ANALYSIS
The Dolphins are in the market for more talent on offense after trading Jaylen Waddle to the Broncos, which is why Reuter has Miami selecting Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion late in the first round. The Dolphins also need more depth at tight end following the departures of Julian Hill and Darren Waller, so the team could look to grab Klare late on Day 3. Per Lance Zierlein of NFL.com, Klare is an athletic pass-catching tight end that can contribute as a run blocker, has a deep route tree, can generate separation across the field and line up in multiple positions, attributes that could earn him a large target share right off the bat in his rookie season. In his final collegiate season at Ohio State, Klare caught 43 passes for 448 yards and two touchdowns across 13 games.
