2025 Fantasy Outlook
Greenard's career got off to a mixed start across his first three years in Houston, but after breaking out with 12.5 sacks in 2023 with the Texans he parlayed his way into a massive multi-year deal with Minnesota, then repeated with 12.0 sacks for the Vikings last season. With any concerns about Greenard being a one-year wonder having been put to rest, he looks like a safe bet to continue dancing with double-digit sacks as long as defensive coordinator Brian Flores remains with the Vikings. Greenard put together a career year in 2023 with 52 tackles (36 solo), 15 tackles for a loss, 12.5 sacks and a forced fumble with the Texans. He then signed a four-year, $72 million contract with Minnesota. The Vikings will be counting on him as a key pass rusher on the edge and hope he can avoid the injuries that caused him to miss 17 games in his first three seasons.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could be on move
Greenard is seeking a new contract and could be traded this offseason, Albert Breer of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
News emerged Tuesday that the Vikings were open to trading Greenard, though the situation appears to be more complicated than merely a need for cap space. He is set to earn $19 million over the final two years of his current contract and is looking for a new deal with increased compensation. Minnesota is hesitant to meet that demand, but also doesn't want to lose Greenard, who has logged 15.0 sacks in 29 regular-season games across his two seasons with the team.
