2026 Projections
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Campbell played a prominent part in Philadelphia's defense as a rookie, totaling 80 tackles, three defensed passes (including an interception), one forced fumble and one recovered fumble over 17 regular-season games. He stepped into a starting role when Nakobe Dean had to miss time due to injury, and with Dean now in Las Vegas, Campbell is slated to start from the outset of the 2026 campaign. He averaged 6.2 stops per contest in the games he started last year, so Campbell should be able to put up strong IDP numbers as a full-time starter. Read Past Outlooks
Returning for training camp?
Campbell (shoulder) has not practiced all spring but is expected to return for training camp, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
ANALYSIS
As defensive coordinator Vic Fangio stated in late May, the expectation is for Campbell to be ready for Eagles' training camp in July. Campbell, a 2025 first-round pick from Alabama, appeared in 17 regular-season games during his rookie campaign, recording 80 total tackles, three passes defensed, including one interception, and one forced fumble. With Nakobe Dean's departure in free agency, Campbell is expected to operate as one of Philadelphia's top inside linebackers once healthy.

Campbell was selected 31st overall by the Eagles in the 2025 Draft out of Alabama, where he ranked fourth in the SEC in tackles with 117, including 5.0 sacks, as a junior. He fell to the end of the first round after undergoing surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder a month before the draft, and while he was limited to start training camp, he quickly ramped up his activity level. Campbell may earn starts at inside linebacker right away alongside Zack Baun if Nakobe Dean's recovery from a torn patellar tendon extends into the regular season.

Nearing return to health
Campbell is expected to be ready for training camp as he recovers from shoulder surgery, Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia reports.
ANALYSIS
Campbell underwent surgery in March and was originally expected to miss most of the offseason. His timeline appears to have improved, as he now has a chance to return for some OTAs and will almost certainly be healthy for training camp. Campbell should see increased production at linebacker after Nakobe Dean signed with the Raiders this offseason.
