2024 Fantasy Outlook
Many prognosticators viewed Sanders as the No. 2 tight end prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft behind only Brock Bowers, but NFL front offices apparently didn’t agree, taking Ben Sinnott in the second round (Washington) and Tip Reiman in the third (Arizona) before Sanders landed in Carolina with the first pick of the fourth round. The slide could be a blessing in disguise for the tight end out of Texas, as his top competition for snaps is now fourth-year pro Tommy Tremble, who had fewer than 200 receiving yards in each of his first three seasons. Sanders, meanwhile, exceeded 600 receiving yards in each of his last two college seasons while competing for targets with a slew of other NFL prospects. And while not quite a burner -- he ran a 4.69 40 at the combine -- he showcased big-play ability last year with 12 catches of 20-plus yards, second only to Bowers among FBS tight ends. The 6-foot-4, 245-pound Sanders should instantly be the best receiving threat in Carolina's tight end room, though shortcomings in blocking and route running could curtail his playing time early on. Finds end zone in OT win
Sanders secured both of his targets for eight yards and a touchdown in the Panthers' 20-17 overtime win over the Giants in Munich on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Sanders operated as the top tight end with Tommy Tremble (back) out once again, and he cashed in with his first NFL touchdown on a five-yard grab in midway through the first quarter. The rookie heads into a Week 11 bye with six receptions for 95 yards and Sunday's score over his last two games and should continue to enjoy a reliable role in the air attack down the stretch run of the season.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could be TE1 vs. Falcons
Sanders should see more snaps against Atlanta on Sunday after Tommy Tremble was ruled out due to a concussion, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Sanders saw a season-high five targets during the Panthers' Week 5 loss to the Bears, four of which came after Tremble left in the second quarter. With Tremble still in concussion protocols and Ian Thomas listed as questionable due to a calf injury, Sanders could be the Panthers' top tight end for Sunday's NFC South matchup. Sanders could see even more looks from quarterback Andy Dalton if wide receiver Diontae Johnson is unable to play through an ankle injury that has limited him in practice all week. Over his last two outings, Sanders has caught five passes on seven targets for 29 yards.
