2026 Fantasy Outlook
Stowers was drafted 54th overall by the Eagles after a pair of productive years at Vanderbilt, during which he caught 111 passes for 1,407 yards and nine TDs. He set a new TE record at the NFL Scouting Combine with a 45.5-inch vertical jump, and his 4.51 40-yard dash was impressive even for an undersized tight end (6-foot-4, 239). He’s still rough around the edges after converting from QB to TE in college, but Stowers’ athleticism and instincts give him a higher long-term ceiling than most second-round prospects at tight. He should begin his career in a bench role behind 31-year-old Dallas Goedert, who is returning for a ninth season in Philadelphia on a one-year contract. Promising as the long-term outlook may be, Stowers' rookie-year fantasy value may largely depend on Goedert's health. Read Past Outlooks

Dealing with minor injury?

Lower Body
June 10, 2026
Stowers appears to have a lower-body injury and isn't doing much at Wednesday's practice, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ANALYSIS
The rookie second-round pick has a sleeve over his right leg and reportedly hasn't been doing much this week. Philadelphia's first-round pick, WR Makai Lemon, has also been absent from recent practices, nursing a hamstring injury that doesn't sound overly severe. Stowers' issue doesn't sound serious either, but it's possible he'll be limited for these last few practices before the Eagles break for the summer. Nothing at this stage hints at doubt about his availability for the start of training camp in late July. The concern for Stowers' fantasy value is Dallas Goedert's continued presence in Philadelphia, not a minor injury during OTAs.

Visits with Broncos
TEFree Agent
April 14, 2026
Stowers had a visit with the Broncos on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Networkreports.
ANALYSIS
Stowers established himself as a likely early-round selection due to a standout showing at the combine, which supplemented strong production in his final two years at Vanderbilt. He's been linked to the Broncos in multiple mock drafts, and this visit will likely only further that speculation. Denver has the 62nd overall pick and has a need at tight end, making Stowers a potentially strong fit.
