2025 Fantasy Outlook
Despite a rocky stretch midseason, Sanchez delivered a statistically solid campaign in 2024/25. He kept 10 clean sheets in 32 appearances, allowing 34 goals and making 95 saves. After being dropped for Filip Jorgensen in February due to a string of errors, Sanchez reclaimed his spot and finished strong, conceding just seven goals and securing six clean sheets over his final 11 matches. With a stable defense in front of him, he enters 2025/26 as the presumed starter. However, his job security remains a question as a poor run could see him benched again.
Of with head injury
Sanchez was forced off the field in Monday's match against Nottingham Forest due to an apparent concussion.
ANALYSIS
Sanchez would be involved in a collision and eventually had to leave the field, suffering from what looks to be a concussion. With him being their starting keeper, this will be something to monitor, as a concussion could leave him out for Saturday's match against Liverpool as he passes protocol. With the club dropping out of European play, this could be a rough loss as they need every win they can get at this point, with Filip Jorgensen likely to start in net if Sanchez remains out.

Set to leave Chelsea?
Chelsea are considering parting ways with Sanchez in the summer of 2026, according to Fichajes.
ANALYSIS
Amid bad decisions and poor performances, Chelsea seem to be growing impatient with Sanchez and would look to let him leave in the summer. If that's the case, expect Chelsea to look at other options to cover between the posts, with Mike Maignan being the favorite.
