Marc Cucurella
27-Year-Old
Chelsea
Premier
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Cucurella finally stayed healthy last season, appearing regularly and finishing with a career-best five goals and one assist from 33 starts. He won 45 of his attempted 67 tackles, continuing his defensive effort to go with a little more attacking upside. Left-back is one of the few positions that Chelsea have not gone to the market to freshen up the past couple years and that's because of Cucurella. While known more for his defensive ability, it wouldn't be surprising if his attacking output grew once again in 2025/26.
74 minutes in FA Cup loss
Cucurella recorded one shot and two tackles won in Saturday's 1-0 FA Cup loss to Manchester City.
ANALYSIS
Cucurella was tasked with a role on the left of the midfield Saturday as his club went for a three-center-back formation, notching one shot in the attack to go along with one interception, a clearance and two tackles won in the defense. He remains one of their more crucial two-way players to end the campaign and should maintain his starting role, especially ahead of the World Cup, notching one goal and four assists from his defensive spot this season.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Chelsea want to keep him around
Chelsea are not interested in listening to offers for Cucurella, according to Mundo Deportivo.
ANALYSIS
Atletico Madrid are willing to do everything in their power to sign Cucurella and are open to spending up to $50 million for the Spanish left-back. However, Chelsea are reluctant to negotiate the potential departure of the defender. Manager Xabi Alonso will probably consider him a key player, so Chelsea won't be open to letting him leave, as they won't be able to find a suitable replacement in the open market.
