2025 Fantasy Outlook
Bergvall is just 19 years old, but he played himself into a starting role last season en route to 21 combined across league and UEL play. Unfortunately, he suffered an ankle injury and missed the final month, including the UEL final. It's unclear what his role will be in the new season under new manager Thomas Frank, who will likely use a different formation and different players. Still, it's hard to ignore Bergvall's impact when on the pitch last season. The problem for fantasy purposes is that he's more likely to play a deeper midfield role, limiting his offensive impact.
Assists Saturday
MTottenham Hotspur
April 19, 2026
Bergvall assisted once to go with zero corners and one chance created in Saturday's 2-2 draw versus Brighton.
ANALYSIS
Bergvall subbed onto the pitch in the 76th minute for Conor Gallagher and just a minute later assisted Xavi Simons' goal which took the 2-1 lead. It was the only chance he created in the match and it marked his third assist of the season, his first since Nov. 29.

Bergvall could stay at Tottenham if the team avoids relegation this season, according to Football Insider.
ANALYSIS
Bergvall has been linked with a move to either Chelsea or Aston Villa ahead of the 2026/27 season. However, the Swedish midfielder, who has spent a big chunk of the season sidelined due to injury, is open to staying at Tottenham. The only scenario in which Bergvall would leave Tottenham is if Spurs are relegated to the Championship.
