He continues to play a central role in Madrid's attack, often pushing forward from midfield into dangerous areas. In addition to an offseason shoulder surgery, it's hard to see his numbers jumping much higher than last season. Reaching 19 goals two seasons ago was his peak and going forward, sitting around 20 total goal contributions seems more likely for output.
