2025 Fantasy Outlook
Gittens signed with Chelsea after a breakout season at Borussia Dortmund where he tallied eight goals and three assists across 32 appearances (21 starts). While his attacking upside is clear, his fantasy value will depend heavily on his minutes. Chelsea are packed with talent at every position, and that doesn't include a bit of a learning curve for Gittens, playing in a much different league. Chelsea bought him for a reason and he figures to start more often than not, but production and starts aren't things guaranteed in this side outside of Cole Palmer.
Still in recovery
Gittens (hamstring) remains without a definitive recovery timeline, with coach Liam Rosenior saying "Jamie has responded really well to his recent setback, but we need to make sure it is right in the long term".
ANALYSIS
Gittens is progressing well in his recovery, but the question remains whether he'll see any more action this season with a few more games to play. The attacker has been inactive since Jan. 31 as he suffered an injury setback in early April and the team is now carefully managing his recovery. He's not a top option among the squad's wingers, but his absence leaves Pedro Neto, Cole Palmer and Alejandro Garnacho as the main choices.

Suffers hamstring injury
Gittens was not an option for Saturday's 7-0 win over Port Vale due to a hamstring injury, according to manager Liam Rosenior. "Unfortunately, Jamie, in training yesterday, picked up what looks like a hamstring injury again. We have to scan him and make sure. It's a real shame for him; I think it's the third time it's happened. We need to help him, and we need to make sure he's okay. I can't give you a time frame on that at the moment."
