Aliyu was the Dynamo's top scorer in 2024 with six strikes while also creating four assists. The 23-year-old Nigerian is dangerous with his high pressing style but inconsistent in execution. Following a strong spell over the summer, he closed the season without a goal in his final 15 starts. Once Nelson Quinones returns to the XI following his long-term injury, the hope for the Dynamo is attacking improvements across the board, and that means more production for Aliyu in 2025.
