Struggles continue in Houston
BantamweightUFC
February 21, 2026
Cornolle lost to Joselyne Edwards via submission (rear-naked choke) at 2:44 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Houston.
ANALYSIS
These two fought back in September 2023, with Cornolle winning a unanimous decision in what was widely viewed as one of the biggest robberies of the year. As a result, she found herself a +300 underdog for the rematch. To Nora's credit, she won Round 1 on all three scorecards before the roof caved in. Cornolle was slammed to the mat by Edwards early in Round 2 and obliterated with strikes, but referee Jacob Montalvo refused to stop the fight, forcing Nora to eventually tap out to the rear-naked choke. To make matters worse, Cornolle appeared to suffer a serious arm injury in the process, as she sat on the stool for seemingly ever after the fight officially ended. Already 36 years old and sporting a 1-3 record in her last four fights, there's zero upside here.

Facing Edwards at UFC Houston
BantamweightUFC
January 1, 2026
Cornolle will face Joselyne Edwards in a bantamweight matchup at UFC Houston on Feb. 21, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Cornolle dropped her second fight in three trips to the Octagon last August, when she was dominated in Rounds 2 and 3 by Karol Rosa. She'll look to bounce back against another ranked opponent in Edwards, but the UFC is seemingly not doing her any favors with this matchup. Edwards has won three in a row, all via stoppage, and will enter with advantages in height, reach and striking volume.
Fades late against Rosa
BantamweightUFC
August 3, 2025
Cornolle defeated Karol Rosa via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-27, 29-27) at UFC Vegas 108 on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Cornolle started out fast in Round 1 by winning the significant striking battle and doing noticeable damage to her opponent, but she faded from there. In the end, it's tough to win a fight in which you lose the total striking battle 190-to-75 and concede 11:25 worth of control time, and the judges saw it that way as well. Cornolle is now 1-2 in her last three fights but still a respectable 3-2 with the company overall dating back to 2023.
Next fight scheduled
BantamweightUFC
May 18, 2025
Cornolle is scheduled to compete against Karol Rosa in a bantamweight fight at UFC Vegas 108 on Aug. 2, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Not even a month and a half after Cornolle defeated Hailey Cowan, the former is scheduled for another fight. Age and weight problems aside, Cornolle is 3-1 across four previous bouts, which is better form than Rosa's alternating wins and losses since 2021.
Submission win after weight miss
BantamweightUFC
April 12, 2025
Cornolle defeated Hailey Cowan via submission (rear-naked choke) at 1:52 of Round 2 at UFC 314 on Saturday in Miami.
ANALYSIS
It was a strong effort by Cornolle. Sadly, her good work inside the Octagon is almost entirely negated by the fact she missed weight by 2.5 pounds Friday morning. Known as a one-dimensional striker, Cornolle ended up on Cowan's back after the former went for a lazy trip early in Round 2. She eventually clamped on the rear-naked choke, resulting in her second career submission victory. Cornolle is now 3-1 in the UFC, but between her age (35) and weight-cutting issues, her upside is very limited.
Heavy for UFC 314
BantamweightUFC
April 11, 2025
Cornolle missed weight for her bantamweight fight with Hailey Cowan at UFC 314 on Saturday in Miami, UFC.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Cornolle missed the bantamweight limit, 136 pounds, by 2.5 pounds in her first weigh-in attempt. She lost a pound, which was not enough to prevent her forfeiting 20 percent of her purse to Cowan. The fight will go on as scheduled one month earlier than when it was initially supposed to happen at UFC 315 in May.
