Taps quickly in Macau opener
StrawweightUFC
May 30, 2026
Lookboonmee lost to Jaqueline Amorim via submission (Armbar) at 4:04 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Macau, China.
ANALYSIS
Coming off a unanimous decision defeat to Alexia Thainara in September, Lookboonmee simply couldn't afford another non-competitive performance such as this one. She got caught up in an exchange along the fence and eventually stuck in the armbar. To Lookboonmee's credit, she battled before eventually having to give up, but that will be of little solace. The 30-year-old had won four in a row and six of seven prior to this brief two-fight losing streak. She needs to find a victory her next time out by any means necessary.

Will take on Amorim
StrawweightUFC
March 30, 2026
Lookboonmee will face Jaqueline Amorim in a strawweight bout at UFC Macau on May 30, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Lookboonmee will aim to bounce back after losing her most recent bout against Alexia Thainara at UFC Perth on Sep. 27, 2025. The Thai has gone 4-1 in her last five bouts, however, and she should be a local favorite in Macau. It's worth noting that the loss to Thainara was Lookboonmee's first loss in a professional fight since 2019.
Winning streak snapped at four
StrawweightUFC
September 27, 2025
Lookboonmee lost to Alexia Thainara via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Perth, Australia.
ANALYSIS
Lookboonmee's takedown defense is typically hit or miss. On this evening it was the latter, and it ended up costing her the fight. She gave up five takedowns to Thainara on 11 attempts. She spent more than two-thirds (10:02) of the fight on her back. torpedoing any chance she may have had of potentially winning a decision. Still just 29 years of age, Lookboonmee had entered on a four-fight winning streak, so her roster spot is plenty secure despite the poor performance.

July 21, 2025
Lookboonmee will fight Alexia Thainara at UFC Perth on Sep. 27, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Lookboonmee looks to stay hot as she heads into September's fight with a 6-1 record in her last seven octagon appearances. The 5-foot-1 strawweight will take on a less experienced UFC opponent in Thainara, though she's coming off a win in March and has not lost a professional fight since 2019.
Does enough as massive favorite
StrawweightUFC
April 5, 2025
Lookboonmee defeated Istela Nunes via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It was an underwhelming effort from Lookboonmee when you take into account she entered as a -1000 favorite and was taking on an opponent that began the evening with an 0-4 record in the UFC and hadn't fought in nearly two years. Lookboonmee was credited with three takedowns and 4:34 worth of control time, but it was Nunes who closed with a 36-32 edge in significant strikes landed. It's rarely pretty, but Lookboonmee improves to 6-1 in her past seven fights dating back to October 2020. Five of the six wins have come via decision, and all were against lower-end competition.
