Shines in UFC debut
Douglas defeated Julian Erosa via KO (punches) at 3:33 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Seattle.
ANALYSIS
Douglas earned his UFC opportunity with a 36-second knockout win on Dana White's Contender Series in September. It took him a bit longer than that to get Erosa out of there, but the performance wasn't any less impressive. Douglas appears to have insane power. He officially dropped Erosa twice, although it sure feels as if they shorted him a knockdown or two. A former LFA standout, Douglas has won six straight, all via knockout (if you include the victory on DWCS). He's an obvious fighter to keep an eye on moving forward at 145 pounds.

ANALYSIS

Nabs contract with quick KO
Douglas defeated Cam Teague via KO (punches) at 0:36 of Round 1 at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. After the show, he was one of five fighters to be awarded an official UFC contract.
ANALYSIS
This one was over before it even started, with Douglas cashing in as the betting favorite north of (-600). He dropped his opponent early with a combination, and when Teague got back up, Douglas starched him with a left hook to close the show. It would go down as the seventh-fastest finish in DWCS history and earn the 30-year-old Brazilian a ticket to the UFC's featherweight division.
