Misses weight, fight still on
FlyweightUFC
June 19, 2026
Borjas missed weight and will compete against Andre Lima in a catchweight fight at UFC Vegas 119 on Saturday, according to MMA Fighting.
ANALYSIS
Borjas was over the UFC's flyweight limit by three pounds. Lima has agreed to a catchweight bout, and he will receive 20 percent of the former's purse. If Borjas cannot win out over the undefeated Lima on Saturday, it would not be surprising if he gets cut, not just based on his 1-4 UFC record but also because of his recent weight miss.

Will take on Lima
FlyweightUFC
April 2, 2026
Borjas will take on Andre Lima in a flyweight bout at UFC Vegas 119 on June 20, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Borjas will have a tough matchup against Lima, an opponent who's 11-0 in his career but hasn't stepped into the octagon since March last year. Borjas is in dire need of a win at the UFC level, as he's 1-4 in the promotion. Another loss would probably mean he'd be on the verge of being released.
Finished after fast start

Borjas lost to Imanol Rodriguez via TKO (punches) at 4:21 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Mexico City.
ANALYSIS
This was one of Borjas' better performances with the UFC. Unfortunately, it also resulted in his fourth loss in five fights with the company. Entering as a +350 underdog and facing a legitimate prospect in Rodriguez, Borjas had one massive flurry early on and was credited with a pair of knockdowns during the sequence. He was aggressive in pursuing the finish, but Rodriguez was eventually able to muscle him to the mat to end the threat, and Borjas never threatened again offensively. The Peruvian is entertaining, and the flyweight division needs all the depth it can find, but one would have to think Borjas is on the chopping block given his struggles to date.
Taking part in UFC Mexico

Borjas will face off against Imanol Rodriguez at UFC Mexico on Feb. 28, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Borjas didn't fare well in his last bout against Su Mudaerji at UFC Shanghai in August, losing via unanimous decision while being held to 16 significant strikes. However, he may have an advantage against Rodriguez, who will be taking part in his first UFC fight after being offered a contract in October following a victory over Roque Conceicao.
Not competitive in defeat
FlyweightUFC
August 24, 2025
Borjas lost to Su Mudaerji via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Shanghai on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Simply put, you're not going to win many fights in which you log just 16 significant strikes in a 15-minute bout, in addition to getting stuffed on all five of your takedown attempts. That was exactly the case for Borjas, who entered as a slight betting underdog (+140). He did rack up some clinch time and was a bit more aggressive in Round 3, but it was far from enough. Borjas has now came up empty in three of his last four trips to the Octagon. His time may be running out.
Picks up first UFC victory
FlyweightUFC
March 29, 2025
Borjas defeated Ronaldo Rodriguez via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Mexico City.
ANALYSIS
It will go down as the most lucrative payday of Borjas' brief UFC run. Not only will he pick up his show and win bonuses, but he will walk away with 20 percent of Rodriguez's purse after the latter missed weight by a pound Friday morning. Borjas' hands looked exceptional. The biggest blow of the night was a Round 1 knockdown, but Kevin landed notable blows the entire fight. Most importantly, Borjas' roster spot will be safe on the heels of back-to-back losses to Joshua Van and Alessandro Costa to begin his time with the company.
