Entering as a +350 underdog and facing a legitimate prospect in Rodriguez, Borjas had one massive flurry early on and was credited with a pair of knockdowns during the sequence. He was aggressive in pursuing the finish, but Rodriguez was eventually able to muscle him to the mat to end the threat, and Borjas never threatened again offensively. The Peruvian is entertaining, and the flyweight division needs all the depth it can find, but one would have to think Borjas is on the chopping block given his struggles to date.
