Dropped from UFC roster

May 21, 2026
Vieira has been removed from the UFC roster, according to Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com.
ANALYSIS
Vieira was part of a group of roster cuts to be reported Thursday, but her presence is a bit of a head-scratcher. The 34-year-old bantamweight had won two of her last three fights, most recently taking a unanimous decision from Jacqueline Cavalcanti just this past weekend. She had risen to the No. 5 spot in the UFC's female bantamweight rankings, and remains listed on their site at the time of reporting. Perhaps the contract has simply expired and the two will agree to terms at a later date, or it may be that Vieira wants to continue her career with another promotion.

Gets right back in win column

May 17, 2026
Vieira defeated Jacqueline Cavalcanti via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
If you said before the fight that Vieira was going to win a decision in which she landed just one takedown, it would have been difficult to believe. That one successful attempt and all 4:42 of her control time came in Round 2. All three judges felt she did enough to win Round 1, as well, despite the fact she landed just 11 significant strikes in the frame compared to Cavalcanti's 24. From there, Vieira was able to ride out the clock to the decision win. Ketlen's next challenge will be to string together back-to-back victories. She's alternated wins and losses in her last seven fights dating back to May 2022.
Cavalcanti up next

Vieira is scheduled to compete against Jacqueline Cavalcanti in a bantamweight fight at UFC Vegas 117 on May 16, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Vieira, currently ranked No. 4 in the UFC women's bantamweight rankings, will look to bounce back from a split-decision loss to Norma Dumont. The former will look to fend off No. 10 Cavalcanti, undefeated in UFC action up to this point.
Gets no help from judges in defeat

November 1, 2025
Vieira lost to Norma Dumont via split decision (28-29, 29-28, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It's not the worse decision we've ever seen, but it sure feels as if Vieira deserved a better fate. She landed one takedown in each of the first two rounds and was seemingly up 20-18 heading into the final frame. Dumont definitely won Round 3, but two of the three judges felt Vieira didn't do enough over the first 10 minutes to earn the decision. It's a crushing loss for Ketlen, who at age 34, hasn't managed to string together back-to-back wins since November 2021 to May 2022. She's still plenty competitive most every time out, but that's not going to be enough moving forward.

Vieira is scheduled to compete against Norma Dumont in a bantamweight fight at UFC Vegas 110 on Nov. 1, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
For half a year, Vieira had been dealing with a debacle in terms of trying to fight Macy Chaisson. However, that is no longer an issue, especially after Vieira outlasted Chaisson in May. Up next for Vieira is Dumont, previously scheduled to fight a former UFC champion in Raquel Pennington.

Vieira defeated Macy Chiasson via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Vieira had weight cutting issues entering this fight, forcing it to be moved from bantamweight to featherweight. It ended up being a huge break for her in the end. Ketlen failed on her lone takedown attempts, but still managed to rack up 10:06 worth of control time. She didn't land many notable offensive blows, but when you combine the control time with a 106-52 edge in total strikes landed, you're going to win a decision. Vieira has alternated wins and losses in her past five fights dating back to May 2022.
