That's not to say he dominated a game Wood by any means, but he clearly won Round 1 on the strength of a beautiful back fist which dropped his opponent (all three judges agreed) and he sure appeared to do enough in a fairly close Round 3 to earn the decision. Of course, the setback is doubly troubling for Delgado given he missed weight by a pound Friday morning. The 27-year-old Arizona native and MMA Lab product needs to rebound his next time out, starting on the scale.
