2026 Projections
Heads to another contender
Woolen agreed to terms Tuesday on a one-year, $15 million contract with the Eagles, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Woolen entered the league as a fifth-round pick of the Seahawks in 2022 and started 46 of 48 games through his first three seasons, registering 41 pass breakups and 11 interceptions in that stretch. Although he started just seven games in 2025, Woolen still averaged 51.0 defensive snaps per game and recorded 41 tackles (33 solo), 12 pass breakups and an interception. Woolen is an unmatched athlete who has shown some flaws as a tackler, but he should be a sturdy addition to the Eagles' secondary nonetheless.

Woolen is heading into the final year of his rookie contract. The UTSA product has started 46 games through three seasons, producing 162 tackles and 11 interceptions, including a pick-six. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound corner needs to improve as a consistent tackler, but he's a natural coverage corner with elite athleticism who's impossible to keep off the field. In the end, his fantasy numbers will likely lag behind his real-life value.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could switch coasts
Woolen would be a fit to sign with the Jets this offseason, Matt Bowen of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Woolen looked to be the next premier cornerback in Seattle after picking off six passes among 16 breakups as a rookie in 2022, but he's dealt with inconsistency since. Seattle has plenty of depth in the secondary, which likely means Woolen will depart in free agency this offseason. A shift to the Jets would greatly hurt his chances of winning another Super Bowl any time soon, though the team could offer him a significant deal and a guaranteed role as New York looks to rebuild its defense.
