2025 Fantasy Outlook
After spending his entire 2022 rookie campaign on the Jaguars' practice squad, Austin made his NFL debut with New Orleans in Week 10 last year. The undrafted product out of Notre Dame played in the Saints' final eight games when their receiving corps was decimated by injuries. He finished with 11 catches for 151 yards and played over 50 percent of offensive snaps in all but one of his appearances. Austin will have to compete with Cedrick Wilson and Dante Pettis, among others, for a depth role. Read Past Outlooks
Draws nine targets in Week 18 loss
Austin caught four of nine targets for 37 yards in Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Falcons.
ANALYSIS
With Chris Olave (blood clots) out for the regular-season finale, Austin filled the role of WR1 for Tyler Shough and drew a team-high nine targets. Austin ended up appearing in eight games for the Saints this season and finished with 13 catches for 140 yards and his first career touchdown. The 25-year-old is under contract through the 2026 campaign but likely won't be guaranteed a roster spot next summer.

Could be Saints' WR2 for ROS
Austin was signed to the Saints' active roster Saturday, and the 24-year-old has an opportunity to emerge as New Orleans' No. 2 wideout behind Marquez Valdes-Scantling for the rest of the 2024 regular season, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.
ANALYSIS
Austin was unable to make the Saints' 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but he opted to stick around on the practice squad. He wasn't elevated to the active roster until Week 10 against the Falcons, but he ended up playing in three straight games due to injuries to Bub Means and Chris Olave, and over that span Austin accumulated six catches on seven targets for 85 yards. Austin played a season-high 43 offensive snaps in Week 13 against the Rams, and he should continue to see that kind of usage moving forward while playing alongside Valdes-Scantling and Cedrick Wilson.
