Rest-of-Season Projections
Staying in NOLA on future deal
The Saints signed Cooks to a reserve/future contract Monday.
ANALYSIS
Cooks spent the majority of the regular season without a team after being cut from the Eagles' practice squad in early September. He managed to catch on with the Saints' practice squad in early December but was not elevated to the active roster. Cooks will spend the offseason with the Saints and participate in offseason activities, with the hopes of showing the coaching staff enough to earn a spot on the active roster for 2026.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Making push for 53-man roster
Cooks has made a strong impression during training camp and is in the running for a spot on the Eagles' 53-man roster, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
ANALYSIS
Cooks spent most of 2024 on the Jaguars' practice squad and appeared in two regular-season games, and he did spend a week on the Eagles' taxi squad in January during the playoffs. He inked a futures deal with Philadelphia in February, and he has been one of the standout players during the first week of training camp practices. If he can keep up this level of performance, Cooks could earn a spot on the 53-man roster as a depth wideout behind A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Jahan Dotson.
