Quarterback
Mike Reilly, EDM vs. WPG ($10,700): Reilly is in an excellent spot against a Blue Bombers defense that allows the second most passing yards per game (322.8), yards per attempt (8.5) and passing touchdowns (22). Reilly threw for 356 yards and two touchdowns back in Week 9 against the Bombers -- leading to 31.64 fantasy points – and he is averaging 24.9 fantasy points in six home games. Moreover, he's completing a whopping 69.8 percent of his throws, while the Eskimos average a league-best 338.1 passing yards per game, a figure almost exclusively built off the arm of Reilly.
Ricky Ray, TOR at HAM ($10,300): Ray didn't have to do much for the second straight game in Week 14 due to James Wilder's second consecutive explosive outing, but he may be locked into a more competitive matchup in Week 15 against a resurgent Tiger-Cats team on the road. Hamilton is still allowing a league-high 347.2 passing yards per game and 24 passing touchdowns, while also snagging a league-low five interceptions. Ray lit up the Tiger-Cats' secondary for 325 yards and two touchdowns back in Week 11, a performance preceded by his 506-yard tally versus them in the season opener.
Jeremiah Masoli, HAM vs. TOR ($8,500): With Ricky Ray and the Argonauts projected to light up the scoreboard, Masoli should be putting the ball in the air plenty himself. He's looked the part since taking over as the starter and scored between 16.54 and 24.32 fantasy points in the last three contests. The Argonauts have been tough against the pass overall, but they have allowed 19 throws of over 30 yards. Furthermore, Masoli offers some rushing upside that could come heavily into play against Toronto's aggressive pass rush.
Running Back
Andrew Harris, WPG at EDM ($8,400): The Achilles heel for the Eskimos' defense has been the run, as they are tied with the Tiger-Cats with 14 rushing touchdowns allowed and also yield the highest yards per carry (6.3) and runs of over 20 yards (10) in the CFL. Harris continues to thrive as both a runner and receiver and has scored more than 20 fantasy points twice and over 30 once in the last five contests. He also gutted this same Eskimos squad for a season-high 35.5 fantasy points back in Week 9 on the strength of 225 total yards (105 rushing and 120 receiving).
James Wilder, TOR at HAM ($7,300): Wilder has been the CFL's best running back over the last two weeks, scoring 41.7 and 36.8 fantasy points, respectively, versus the Eskimos and Alouettes. The matchup is even tastier in Week 15, as the Tiger-Cats have allowed a league-high 14 rushing touchdowns. As mentioned earlier in Ricky Ray's entry, they've allowed the most passing yards and passing touchdowns, and Wilder notably totaled 13 receptions for 144 yards in the aforementioned pair of contests. At a price still well below the elite options at the position, he makes for an excellent value selection.
Alex Green, HAM vs. TOR ($5,600): If not for James Wilder's spectacular outing last week, there'd be a lot more hype surrounding Green, who racked up 20.5 fantasy points on the strength of a 13-carry, 140-yard night against the Lions in what was his CFL debut. Green has fresh legs and could see plenty of work against a Toronto defense that has allowed 10 rushing touchdowns, as the Tiger-Cats potentially try to keep the ball away from Ricky Ray, Wilder and the rest of their talented teammates.
Timothy Flanders, WPG at EDM ($4,900): Weston Dressler is out for Week 15 with an upper-body injury, potentially opening up more opportunity for Flanders, who already started at slotback last week. The results were very positive – especially relative to price – as he delivered 19.3 fantasy points in a well-rounded performance that consisted of 55 rushing yards and 28 receiving yards and a touchdown. A running back by trade, Flanders could see plenty of volume through both the ground and air in a game that could well turn into a shootout.
Wide Receiver/Slotback
S.J. Green, TOR at HAM ($9,100): The vulnerabilities of the Tiger-Cats' defense against the passing game were detailed earlier, and Green has averaged 22.4 fantasy points in two games against Hamilton this season. Green also has touchdowns in consecutive games and has been Ricky Ray's top target throughout the season. His numbers are also a bit better across the board on the road, where he's averaged 18.5 fantasy points and 91.2 receiving yards per contest over six games.
Derel Walker, EDM vs. WPG ($8,200): Walker has rightfully seen a big bump in price after compiling 23.5 and 19.2 fantasy points in his first two games back in Edmonton. However, with a bye week to get even further back into sync with Mike Reilly and an appealing matchup against the Blue Bombers secondary, he's certainly worth the investment. In addition to the numbers previously cited, it's also worth noting that the Bombers are tied with the Tiger-Cats in giving up a league-high 6.9 yards per play and 24 completions of over 30 yards, numbers that certainly could work in the favor of a speedy downfield threat like Walker.
Luke Tasker, HAM vs. TOR ($6,700): Tasker has had one of the safest floors of any CFL receiver this season, posting at least five receptions in all but one game. He racked up seven catches for 77 yards against the Argonauts in the opening game of the season, and although he had a more modest showing in his second meeting against them (three receptions, 32 yards), he has shown a very good rapport with Jeremiah Masoli over the last two weeks. Tasker has 13 receptions for 174 yards and a touchdown over that span and should be targeted often in a game that Hamilton could end up throwing a good bit in.
Bakari Grant, SSK at OTT ($6,300): The Rougriders have a significant hole in their passing game this week with Naaman Roosevelt (upper body) ruled out, opening up even more opportunities for Grant, who has already made solid contributions throughout the season with the latter in the lineup. Grant posted 11.9 fantasy points against the stingy Stampeders defense in Week 14 on the strength of his second straight six-catch game, and has scored double-digit fantasy points on seven other occasions this season as well. The Redblacks have gotten better in the secondary over the course of the season, but they're still allowing the most passing yards (4,246), the most pass attempts (528) and the second-most completions (348) in the CFL.
Caleb Holley, SSK at OTT ($4,700): As with Grant, Holley could certainly be in a position to benefit from Roosevelt's absence in Week 15, and the fact the Redblacks have also allowed the second-most completions of over 30 yards (26) in the CFL could spell success for the speedster. Holley has shown some upside when given the opportunity, posting tallies of 13.5 and 18.4 fantasy points in games in which he's seen extended action. A nominal price that doesn't factor in what could be a significant boost in volume this week makes him an excellent value play, irrespective of whether Kevin Glenn (hand) or Brandon Bridge lines up behind center.
Team Defense
Calgary Stampeders vs. Montreal Alouettes ($5,200): Despite their designation as the most expensive defense of the week, the Stampeders appear to be worth it, considering they have averaged 15.3 fantasy points over six home contests on the strength of 20 sacks, seven interceptions, two fumble recoveries and an impressive five defensive touchdowns. They're allowing a sparse 13.7 points per contest at McMahon Stadium as well, and the Alouettes can't seem to get their act together on offense. They check in with the second lowest time of possession (27:18) and yards per game (325.3), while also tying with the Redblacks for second most turnovers with 25. Meanwhile, Calgary is tied with the Argonauts for the most sacks (38) and have allowed the fewest total touchdowns (20) this season.
