ANALYSIS
After ending his sophomore season due to an ACL tear on Feb. 27 versus Illinois, Cason has now decided he'll sit out the 2026-27 campaign to retain a year of eligibility. The 6-foot-2 guard averaged 8.4 points, 2.4 assists and 1.9 rebounds on 18.6 minutes per game while shooting 40.2 percent from three-point range this season. He'll now focus on getting back to full health when 2027 rolls around.
