After two seasons of being underused at UCLA, Mara broke out in his 2025-26 season with national champion Michigan. The 7-foot-3 center was a dominant defender and extremely efficient scorer, averaging 12.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.6 blocks and 2.4 assists while making more than two-thirds of his field goal attempts. Mara's combination of size and skill should be very intriguing to frontcourt-needy NBA franchises.
