This article is part of our Yahoo DFS Basketball series.
Up next in the NBA is Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Bucks and Hawks. This matchup also provides an opportunity to play Yahoo's single game contest.
In addition to selecting two flex players, there are three multiplier positions in this single-game format. A player slotted into the Megastar spot will earn double their fantasy points scored. The Superstar spot will earn 1.5X their fantasy points scored. Finally, the Star will earn 1.2X their fantasy points scored. With that in mind, let's discuss some players to consider.
MULTIPIERS
Giannis Antetokounmpo ($54): Giannis provided another dominant stat line in Game 3, finishing the win with 33 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block. He's scored at least 49.8 Yahoo points in all three games of this series, which is even more impressive when you consider that he only logged 29 minutes during a blowout win in Game 2. His free-throw shooting has been a problem late in games, but we're not worried about that for DFS. He's still one of the top players to consider for a multiplier spot.
Khris Middleton ($33): Middleton took over late in Game 3, producing arguably his greatest performance in the playoffs during his career. He drained big shot after big shot, finishing with 38 points and six three-pointers. He also dominated in other areas, posting 11 rebounds and seven assists. While he's had his ups and downs during the Bucks' playoff run, he's mostly been reliable for DFS purposes, scoring at least 32.0 Yahoo points in eight straight games.
Jrue Holiday ($31): Holiday couldn't get much going offensively in Game 3, scoring just six points on 2-for-11 shooting from the field. Still, he managed to score 39.8 Yahoo points thanks to his 12 assists, two steals and two blocks. He has 29 total assists in this series and has logged at least 42 minutes in four of the Bucks' last five games, so expect him to have a high floor in this matchup, as well.
FLEX PLAYS
Kevin Huerter ($18): The Hawks could be in trouble for this game with Trae Young (foot) listed as questionable. It would be a surprise if Young didn't at least try to play, but his injury could limit his effectiveness. To complicate matters, Bogdan Bogdanovic has been a shell of his former self while battling through a knee injury. With the potential that both he and Young are limited, the Hawks are going to need added production from Huerter. He scored 35.3 Yahoo points in Game 3 and similar production from him could be coming Tuesday.
Bobby Portis ($11): Portis has provided key energy for the Bucks in this series despite logging no more than 18 minutes in any of the three games. He scored 27.3 Yahoo points in Game 3 and has scored at least 21.1 Yahoo points in two of the three games. There's no reason for the Bucks to go away from him given his recent run of success, so he has the potential to provide value.
PLAYER TO AVOID
Brook Lopez ($18): After logging heavy minutes in the previous series against the Nets, Lopez hasn't played more than 25 minutes in any game against the Hawks. The result has been him scoring 19.6 Yahoo points or fewer two times. Given that his salary doesn't come at much of a discount, he's too risky of an option.
