FanDuel's format only counts the eight highest scores in your nine-player lineup, so keep that in mind when making your selections.
POINT GUARD
Tyus Jones, MIN at BOS ($6,300): With ankle injuries leaving Jeff Teague and Derrick Rose doubtful, Jones is in line to once again shoulder a heavy workload at the point guard position. He's thrived under such conditions with both Teague and Rose missing each of the past two games, logging 38.3 fantasy points in 36 minutes followed by 39.9 fantasy points in 38 minutes. Even if one of the two injured alternatives returns, that player will likely be eased back in, leaving plenty of room for Jones to operate.
Tomas Satoransky, WAS vs. ATL ($6,200): Satoransky is another guy benefiting from increased minutes due to a fellow point guard's injury, as he's become Washington's starter at the position with John Wall done for the year due to an Achilles injury. After averaging 29.1 fantasy points in 35 minutes in the first two games since Wall went down, Satoransky is likely to step things up against a Hawks team that's surrendering a league-high 117.9 points per game. This matchup of the league's two worst defensive teams won't feature much pretty basketball, but it should be a treasure trove of fantasy value.
SHOOTING GUARD
Jaylen Brown, BOS vs. MIN ($4,500): Brown will be brimming with confidence after scoring a season-high 30 points in his last game, and he could be called upon to carry a heavier scoring load than usual if Kyrie Irving is forced to sit out due to a scratched cornea. Regardless of Irving's status, Brown offers nice upside relative to his $4,500 valuation against a Minnesota team that's just 5-14 on the road.
Malik Monk, CHA vs. DAL ($4,600): Monk's 35.6 fantasy points Monday represented a season best, and he's primed for a repeat effort with starting shooting guard Jeremy Lamb out with a hamstring injury after being limited to just nine minutes in that contest. Given his mix of affordability and opportunity, it's tough to pass up the 11th overall pick from the 2017 draft here.
SMALL FORWARD
Paul George, OKC at LAL ($10,000): George has topped 40.0 fantasy points in each of his past 14 appearances, exceeding 49.0 in eight of those contests and climbing as high as 83.8. Averaging career highs in PPG (26.4), RPG (8.2) and APG (4.1), George should continue to produce at a high level against a Lakers team that's allowing 111.4 points per game.
E'Twaun Moore, NO at BKN ($4,300): Moore continues to be a cheap source of scoring as the starting small forward with Nikola Mirotic still sidelined by an ankle injury. He doesn't contribute much in categories besides points, but Moore is seeing enough volume to justify a look at just $4,300. Over the past two contests, he's averaging 19.0 PPG in 35 minutes per game.
POWER FORWARD
Kyle Kuzma, LAL vs. OKC ($7,400): Look for Kuzma to keep thriving as the Lakers' go-to guy with LeBron James already ruled out due to a groin injury. Kuzma has played at least 40 minutes in each of the first three games of LeBron's absence, while averaging a James-like 25.0 PPG, 8.7 RPG and 5.0 APG.
Marcus Morris, BOS vs. MIN ($5,500): Morris won't be your top performer, but he's a steady presence who's likely to outperform his $5,500 valuation. He's logged at least 28 minutes in each of his past four contests to go with an average of 30.4 fantasy points, and Morris should keep the good times rolling here given Minnesota's aforementioned struggles on the road.
CENTER
Alex Len, ATL at WAS ($5,200): Len's averaging 33.2 fantasy points over his past three appearances, and he's primed for another strong performance against a Wizards team that gives up the second-most points per game behind the Hawks (117.5) and the most rebounds per game (57.1). With Dewayne Dedmon (knee) and John Collins (illness) both in danger of sitting out, there should be plenty of front court minutes to go around for Len.
