Sunday evening's slate has four games on the ledger. That makes our bargain hunting a much more streamlined process. Fortunately, there are still plenty of candidates to choose from at each position that can save you the cash necessary to potentially roster both Russell Westbrook and Kawhi Leonard in the same lineup, for example. Without further ado, let's jump into breaking down the case for some of the best potential point-per-dollar options Sunday:
POINT GUARD
Cory Joseph, IND at TOR ($4,100): Joseph has settled into a valuable rotational role in the backcourt that typically affords him minutes in the mid-20s at minimum. The veteran point guard has eclipsed 20 fantasy points in five of his last 10 games, with tallies of 25.6 and 33.2 included in that sample. That offers a glimpse of the 6x-8x return he's capable of generating at his current cost, and the fact he's on the road Sunday actually works in his favor. Joseph has been his best outside of his home floor of Bankers Life Fieldhouse, shooting 50.8 percent, including 45.2 percent from three-point range. He also draws a solid matchup against his old Raptors squad that will once again be playing without Kyle Lowry (back), thereby making them less intimidating defensively in the backcourt.
Devonte' Graham, CHA at PHO ($4,000): Graham appears in line to draw another start for Jeremy Lamb (hamstring), who's already missed two games, including Saturday's with the injury. Graham had actually been coming on even prior to Lamb's absence, he's scored 25.3 to 27.6 fantasy points in three of his past four games overall and provided 17.2 in the other game during that stretch. Graham has logged over 20 minutes in each of those contests, bumping up to 26 and 33, respectively, in the last two games as a starter. The Suns make for appealing targets as well, considering they've allowed 47.9 fantasy points per game to two-guards, along with the ninth-most points (25.8) per contest to the position.
SHOOTING GUARD
Dwyane Wade, MIA at ATL ($5,200): Wade continues rolling along in his backup role, as he'll come into Sunday's game having scored 24.2 to 33.3 fantasy points in five of his last six games. Despite those strong returns, his price remains encouragingly low, especially for the premium matchup he draws Sunday evening. Wade is already averaging 26.5 fantasy points in two prior games versus the Hawks this season, and Atlanta is allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game to shooting guards (50.5), bottom-five figures in points (26.8) and assists (6.2), and the most steals (2.3) per game to the position. All of those vulnerabilities give Wade no shortage of paths to fantasy success, and a return the likes of what he's been generating lately would certainly be more than sufficient for tournaments at his price.
Danny Green, TOR vs. IND ($4,100): Green's production can be hard to trust at times, but his bargain-bin price certainly accounts for it. The veteran wing is more often than not valued for his defensive prowess, but Green has also shown flashes of the three-point upside he frequently displayed earlier in his career this season. The 10-year veteran is averaging his highest number of three-point attempts (5.3) since the 2014-15 season and draining them at a 40.0 percent clip, his best figure since that season as well. Sunday, he'll be on his home floor, where he's shooting an even more impressive 41.1 percent from behind the arc. He'll also be facing a Pacers squad that's allowed 43.3 fantasy points per game to shooting guards, a figure partly the byproduct of Indiana allowing the fifth-most made threes (3.6) per contest to the position.
SMALL FORWARD
Otto Porter Jr., WAS at OKC ($4,900): Porter returned from a 10-game absence due to a knee injury just two games ago, but he's already worked his way back up to 21 minutes of playing time and has provided nine and 14 points in his first pair of contests, respectively. While he's still likely to come off the bench again Sunday at power forward behind Jeff Green, a bump up to minutes in the mid-20s is certainly conceivable. Porter will face off versus a Thunder squad that's allowed 38.9 fantasy points per game to fours, along with 10.3 rebounds per contest to the position. Porter had eclipsed 30 fantasy points in three of the four games prior to his injury and just posted 30.7 versus the Heat on Friday night in his second game back from injury, totals that are befitting of a much higher-priced player.
Mikal Bridges, PHO vs. CHA ($4,200): Bridges continues to get valuable playing time during his rookie season, as he's now averaging 26.3 minutes while holding down the starting small forward position. The 2018 first-round pick's opportunity has even ramped up further recently, as Bridges has seen over 30 minutes in 10 of the last 11 games. He's parlayed that opportunity into eight games with more than 20 fantasy points, including three over 30. Despite those types of numbers, Bridges' price remains very affordable, and he'll face a Hornets squad that's allowed 42.6 fantasy points per game to threes. They've been even more vulnerable of late, allowing bottom-five figures in fantasy points (60.3), points (28.2), rebounds (12.2) and blocks (2.0) to the position over the last five games.
POWER FORWARD
Bam Adebayo, MIA at ATL ($4,400): Adebayo continues to see minutes in the upper teens to low 20s on average, an allotment of playing time that occasionally leads to some impressive spikes in production relative to his current price. The latest examples of such have come against the Cavaliers and Wizards, as he posted 35.3 and 31.9 fantasy points against those teams, respectively, within the last five games. Adebayo also has a tally of 21.5 fantasy points in a rematch versus Cleveland during that stretch, and he'll be locked into another matchup that could coax similar production out of him Sunday. Adebayo has already totaled 20.4 and 21.3 fantasy points in two prior games versus the Hawks this season, and Atlanta comes in allowing the eighth-most fantasy points (42.8) per game to centers, along with bottom-10 figures in rebounds (11.4) and blocks (2.2) per game to the position. Moreover, the Hawks are allowing the third-most points in the paint (60.0) over the last three games, while Adebayo is logging 70 percent of his points in that area of the floor.
Richaun Holmes, PHO vs. CHA ($4,000): Holmes has scored 23.8 and 39.8 fantasy points versus the Sixers and Clippers in his last two games, just the latest example of the upside he brings to the table at a bargain price. The fourth-year big continues to play an important rotational role in the Suns' frontcourt and is currently logging most of his time at center behind Deandre Ayton. He'll face a Hornets squad Sunday that's allowing the seventh-most fantasy points (43.0) per game to centers, along with the sixth-most rebounds (12.3) and third-most blocks (2.2). Charlotte is also yielding the 10th-most points in the paint (49.7), including 52.7 over the last three. In turn, Holmes is scoring just over 80 percent of his points in that area of the floor.
CENTER
Bismack Biyombo, CHA at PHO ($3,600): Biyombo could well draw another start Sunday while Cody Zeller (hand) remains on the mend, as Biyombo thrived in a Saturday opportunity versus the Nuggets in a tough matchup. The veteran logged 40.4 fantasy points over 30 minutes on the strength of a 16-point, 12-rebound double-double, which had been preceded by a solid 22.9 fantasy-point tally versus the Mavericks on Wednesday. Having seen minimal playing time throughout most of the season, Biyombo undoubtedly has fresh legs and will have a chance to put them to use against a Suns squad that's allowed the second-most fantasy points (46.6) per game to centers, along with bottom-five figures in rebounds (13.0) and shooting percentage (58.0) to the position. Phoenix is also allowing the second-most points in the paint per game (52.9), while Biyombo logs 78.3 percent of his points in that are of the court.
