FanDuel NBA: Friday Value Picks

FanDuel NBA: Friday Value Picks

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Spencer Dinwiddie, ($4,000), Sean Kilpatrick ($4,100) BRO at TORIsaiah Whitehead is questionable for Friday after leaving last night's game with a strained left knee. The Nets don't have a lot of point guard depth and Dinwiddle has been getting respectable minutes off the bench. He's averaged just over 19 fantasy points over his last five games, while Kilpatrick would also benefit if Whitehead is out. Watch for news throughout the day as one -- if not both -- of these guys should end up providing solid value against the Raptors.

T.J. McConnell, PHI vs CHA ($5,400) – Even though Sergio Rodriguez is back in the fold, there is no reason the 76ers should go back to him as the starter considering how well McConnell has played. His confidence should be at an all-time high after hitting the game-winner the other night, and Kemba Walker has never been known as an elite defender. McConnell has at least 24.6 fantasy points in each of his last five games and has a 41.3-point effort in that span. McConnell seems especially safe considering he doesn't rely on scoring; the point guard is a good rebounder for his size and can be expected to dish out around eight assists per game.

Victor Oladipo, OKC at MIN ($5,700) – For whatever reason, Oladipo's price has remained just under $6K since returning from injury. He's scored at least 20.8 fantasy points in every game and has four efforts of at least 28 fantasy points in his last six. The matchup against the Wolves doesn't look good on paper, but Zach LaVine may not play and won't be at 100 percent if he does.

Anthony Tolliver, SAC vs CLE ($3,900) – If you're looking for a punt play at power forward, Tolliver is your man. He's not only starting, but getting significant playing time with 36 and 32 minutes over his last two games. Tolliver has parlayed that extra time into 26 and 26.3 fantasy points in those two contests. Even if the Kings decide to go big against Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson, Tolliver should see plenty of minutes off the Sacramento bench Friday.

Nerlens Noel, PHI vs CHA ($4,700) – Don't look now, but Noel has gone from the doghouse to getting over 20 minutes per game over his last three. He has 26.1, 18.8 and 35.6 fantasy points over those three games with 20 of those fantasy points coming off blocks or steals. Noel should be able to take advantage of Charlotte's second team, which is giving up the third most fantasy points to opposing centers this season.

Maurice Harkless, POR vs ORL ($4,700) – The price of Al-Farouq Aminu ($5,800) has jumped up, but Harkless has stayed at an affordable level. Harkless has scored at least 21.9 fantasy points in five of his last six games, which is a solid floor for cash games. He'll get the road-weary Magic on Friday, who have given up the eighth most fantasy points to opposing small forwards.

Kelly Olynyk, BOS at ATL ($3,700) – If you decide to go the "stars and scrubs" route tonight, Olynyk is a great punt play at center. At this price, he's hit over 5X his value in five straight games while feasting on opposing bench players. He's been productive from a DFS perspective due to his ability to stuff the stat sheet, at least as much as someone who averages just over 20 minutes per game can. For the most part, he'll avoid both Dwight Howard and Paul Millsap in this one, but there's also a limited ceiling here.

Cody Zeller, CHA at PHI ($4,900) – Zeller is expected to return from a one-game absence after missing Tuesday's game with the illness that's been going around the league. He practiced yesterday and will be ready to take on Joel Embiid and the 76ers tonight. Zeller has been a nice surprise for Charlotte, providing productive minutes at center with an average of 22.8 fantasy points per game. While those numbers don't jump off the page, remember that he wasn't getting much playing time at the beginning of the season. While Joel Embiid has become a household name, Philadelphia has still struggled against opposing centers, giving up the third most fantasy points to the position this season.
