Dream11 NBA: HOU vs. LAC Preseason Showdown

The NBA season has started on Dream11.com as there are contests for preseason games for those in India. Here's a breakdown for Friday's Houston Rockets vs. Los Angeles Clippers preseason game.

Star Player

James Harden, HOU (22 credits): Harden was the best player in fantasy last season and he's up to his old tricks again. Averaging 36.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game last season made him the most dangerous fantasy player in the game and he could be even better without Chris Paul. He showed that form in his first preseason game, collecting 10 points, 12 rebounds and 17 assists in just 21 minutes of action. Coach Mike D'Antoni already said he'll increase his minutes here to 24-25, which only adds to his sky-high value.

Small League Plays

Clint Capela, HOU (14.5 credits): While Harden is the easy choice for a small league play, we'll go ahead and Capela here. The big man provided 25 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks in his first preseason game, doing that damage in just 19 minutes. He too should see a small increase in minutes, thus making him hard to avoid at a thin center position.

Maurice Harkless, LAC (8.5 credits): With Kawhi Leonard and Paul George sitting this preseason opener out, Harkless should get all the minutes he can handle. More importantly, his usage should be monstrous with those ball hounds off the court. This is a dude who really broke out at the end of last season too, averaging 25 Dream11 points per game across his final 39 games played.

Grand League Plays

Chris Clemons, HOU (3.5 credits): With Russell Westbrook sitting out because of a knee issue, Clemons should see huge minutes at point guard. That was evident in their preseason opener, with Clemons accruing 21 points, two rebounds and four assists. The biggest reason we like him is his usage, with Clemons taking 16 shots and 13 three-pointers in that game. That's impossible to pass up at 3.5 credits.

Ivica Zubac, LAC (8.5 credits): The Clippers are thin in their front court and they need to see what they have out of this kid. That's what preseason is all about and it should guarantee Zubac at least 20 minutes of action. That's really all we can hope for with Zubac, as he actually averaged 16.8 points, 13.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.7 blocks per game per 36 minutes played last year. Those averages equates to more than one Dream11 point per minute, which is huge from a player south of 10 credits.
