DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

Guards

Bradley Beal, WSH at PHI ($8,900): The Wizards are one of the best teams to use in DFS right now, as a number of role players have had to step up in the absence of John Wall and Markieff Morris. The player who benefits most though is Beal, who has at least 42 DK points in five straight games. Beal is posting a 34 percent usage rate with Wall and Morris off the floor, while averaging 1.4 DraftKings points per minute.

Tomas Satoransky, WSH at PHI ($5,400): Satoransky is the direct beneficiary to Wall being out, as he's taken over starting point guard duties. In this expanded role, Satoransky is averaging 29 DraftKings points per game across 35 minutes of action. Those are the numbers of a player who should be north of $6,000, and Philly is not a defense worth fading right now.

Nicolas Batum, CHA at LAC ($4,700): Batum has been extremely frustrating for fantasy owners this season but recent results indicate he may be climbing out of his slump. Batum has at least 22 DK points in six of his last seven games, and he's been much better in the absence of Jeremy Lamb (hamstring), who's questionable to play Tuesday. Those 22 fantasy points are the floor that Batum has shown in past seasons -- he's usually around a $6,500 player when he's right.

Forwards

John Collins, ATL at TOR ($6,900): This game scares me because of blowout potential but that may be why this price is so enticing. Collins has been playing at an $8,000 level throughout the season, and he was at $8,200 just four games ago. It's hard to understand why this price has dropped to this level, as Collins is averaging more than 40 DraftKings points per game since seeing his minutes limit lifted after returning from injury. Collins has among the highest floors at this price range, popsting at least 37 DK points in 12 of his last 16 games.

Trevor Ariza, WSH at PHI ($5,900): Since joining Washington, Ariza is averaging 14.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.0 steals per game. What's more important is that he's taking 14 shots per game while playing 39 minutes per outing. That monstrous role has allowed him to average 32 DraftKings points per game since being traded, which is north of 6X value.

DeAndre' Bembry, ATL at TOR ($4,600): Bembry just got a vote of confidence from his head coach, and he's been guaranteed a starting job for the remainder of the week. Bembry has scored at least 22 DK points in six straight outings, and his per-minute averages -- 21 FP/G in 23 MPG -- imply that he has more room to ascend.

Centers

Hassan Whiteside, MIA vs, DEN ($6,600): This is yet another price that's too cheap, as Whiteside typically has one of the highest upsides on the board. That was evident when he dropped 82 DK points earlier this season, while he's reached 50 fantasy points on numerous occasions. Opposing centers have obliterated Nikola Jokic recently, averaging 24 points, 8.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.0 blocks in their last seven games against Denver. That includes lower-level players like Bismack Biyombo, Luke Kornet and Willie Cauley-Stein. In his last five games against the Nuggets, Whiteside is averaging 18.2 points, 11.4 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.0 steals and an absurd 4.2 blocks per game.

Bismack Biyombo, CHA at LAC ($4,500): With Cody Zeller (hand) injured, Biyombo has, against all odds, found himself as the starting center in Charlotte. It's done wonders for his fantasy value, with Biyombo averaging 27 DraftKings points across his last three games. Biyombo is averaging 10.5 DK points in 10.4 minutes per game, and he's notched 26 minutes per game in his two starts. That expanded role makes him intriguing in a matchup against a defense that allows the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing centers.
